About EY Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM): EY FSRM is a dedicated team within EY that offers risk management expertise to financial institutions, helping them navigate the complex and evolving landscape of financial risks and valuations. Our team is composed of professionals with deep industry knowledge and technical expertise to assist banks and asset management firms in managing market risk, credit risk, interest rate risk, liquidity risk, model developments, valuation challenges, and regulatory requirements.

 

As an Intern, you will be involved in a variety of projects at the intersection of quantitative modelling, financial products valuation, and financial risk management, gaining hands-on experience with real client engagements in a highly technical and dynamic environment.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Pursuing or holding a Master's degree in quantitative finance, mathematics, physics or related field
  • Good understanding of financial instruments (fixed income, derivatives) and valuation techniques
  • Strong interest in quantitative modelling, structured products, and financial risk management
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with Python programming or similar programming languages is a strong advantage
  • Strong communication and ability to work in a team-oriented, client-facing environment
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or German is a plus.
