In order to continue the expansion of our Financial Services practice, we are currently looking to recruit a Valuation in Audit Junior (f/m).
Your mission
As a junior consultant within our practice, your responsibilities will be to perform and carry out valuation analysis and reviews of a wide spectrum of Over the Counter (OTC) Derivatives and Structured Products, in assessing the reasonableness of valuations and financial models in the context of financial reporting and assurance related engagements, as well as the opportunity for exposure to advisory engagements.
Preferred knowledge/skills
- Have 0 - 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Have a Master’s and/or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, including but not limited to financial engineering or finance.
- Have a strong mathematical background, including stochastic calculus, probability theory, and econometrics, with knowledge of numerical methods such as Monte Carlo simulations for valuing complex financial derivatives.
- Sound understanding of financial markets, knowledge of and exposure to OTC Derivatives and Structured Products.
- Have advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of valuation principles, techniques and models with regards to OTC Derivatives and Structured Products. Strong analytical skills, problem solver, detail-oriented, entrepreneurial, autonomous and enjoying working in a multi-cultural environment.
- Have the ability to research and analyse pertinent client, industry, and financial matters, while demonstrating strong technical and analytical skills.
- Have knowledge of industry softwares and tools (i.e. Bloomberg, ICE Data Derivatives, advanced Excel and/or Python modelling).
- Have perfect command of English, both written and verbally, within a professional services business environment. Other languages are considered a plus.
