- Do you enjoy a fast-paced, high-energy environment?
If you answered “Yes” to all of the above, we want to meet you!
Your Key Responsibilities:
As part of the AIBD team, your mission will be to help EY on the WAM go-to-market strategy. In that frame you will collaborate with EY’s industry leaders and their teams on challenging projects:

- Develop reports and dashboards using Excel, Power BI and relevant internal tools to support commercial decisions and track progress.
- Produce executive-ready briefings and market scans for priority clients, prospects, meetings and campaigns.
Business Development & Client Engagement
- Support the WAM Sector Leader in shaping and executing an integrated go-to-market plan across Assurance, Tax, Consulting and Strategy and Transactions.
- Set up, prepare for, execute and document internal service line meetings for WAM

- Facilitate cross-country and regional collaboration (physical and virtual) to leverage relevant relationships, credentials, insights and opportunities.
- Proactively contribute to business development by engaging with clients and prospects, supporting relationship development and helping progress opportunities from initial interest to agreed next steps.
Key Account & Pipeline Management
- Develop knowledge of EY Industries, Services, Accounts and BD methodologies
- Support Key Account Leaders in maintaining focused account plans covering client priorities, relationship maps, whitespace, pipeline, agreed actions and client experience.
- Maintain accurate and timely opportunity, contact and account data in EY systems to enable reliable reporting and decision-making.
- Monitor pipeline quality and movement, challenge gaps in information and help account teams define next-best actions.
- Together with the Key Account Leaders, prepare and execute internal account meetings. Drive disciplined follow-up on account actions, including ownership, deadlines, progress and escalation of blockers.
Thought Leadership, Events & Communication
- Collaborate with EY’s Thought Leadership team to help shape client-relevant content, including articles, briefings, one-pagers, presentations and campaign materials, ensuring a clear commercial purpose and audience.
- Support the activation of thought leadership through targeted outreach, client conversations, events and coordinated follow-up.
- Represent EY WAM at selected internal and external industry events and conferences, confidently building relationships with clients, prospects and market stakeholders.
- Support EY’s Events team in preparing quality and commercially focused events for the WAM industry. Evaluate the effectiveness of events and campaigns by tracking engagement, follow-up activity and resulting opportunities.
Collaboration & Ways of working
- Act as a connector across service lines, account teams, marketing and regional/global WAM networks.
- Bring structure and pace to multiple concurrent initiatives, anticipate dependencies and communicate risks or required decisions early.
- Take ownership of deliverables from initial scoping through execution and follow-up, with limited supervision.
- Handle sensitive client and commercial information with sound judgement and appropriate confidentiality.
Skills and Attributes for Success
- At least four-five years of relevant experience in business development, account management, professional services, financial services or a comparable client-focused environment, together with a Master’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing or another relevant field.

- Demonstrated confidence in client-facing situations, including the ability to build rapport, ask purposeful questions, listen to business needs and agree clear next steps.
- A proactive commercial mindset, with the curiosity and judgement to identify opportunities and persistence to move them forward.
