ESS Geo Advisor Associate Director
Join our Enterprise Support Services (ESS) team and you will be an integral part of our business enablement functions that keeps our organization running strong. You will use your interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) to interface with employees at all levels. As an ESS Geo Advisor Associate Director, you will work across teams to provide the supervision, knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY’s growth and profitability.
The opportunity
As an ESS Geo Advisor Associate Director, you will be responsible for the delivery of core ESS and own key stakeholder relationships in a specific EY office or group of offices. You will liaise with outsourced Facility Management (FM) on all aspects of facilities management, administrative services, hoteling and reservation services, video conferencing set- up and support, internal meeting services, emergency preparedness and customer satisfaction. You will also develop and direct the implementation of Enterprise Support Services strategic plans, as well as establish and maintain performance measurements. Our leaders will look to you to understand the structure and business of the organization to effectively manage the firm’s knowledge, processes and capital resources, including space and equipment. You’ll monitor financial and operational performance in accordance with established administrative services and tax support parameters. We’ll look to you to escalate customer service challenges and maintain strong customer and cross functional relationships (especially between the outsourced FM provider, the Office Managing Partners (OMPs), and various staff).
Your key responsibilities
- Acts as single point of contact for Office Managing Partner on ESS services and recommends solutions
- Develops relationships with key internal customers to identify, track and proactively address service needs
- Liaises with outsourced FM on all facility installations with vendors, maintenance and repairs to facility and equipment
- Counsels teams and colleagues on trends likely to affect EY and/or our clients’ business
- Partners with other groups within the matrix organization cultivating relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value
- Sets up full project plans rapidly for teams including; objectives, milestones, priorities, teams, calendar and nature of deliverables such as office moves
- Focuses on potential project issues to prioritize resources, timing, quality, scope and risk
- Manages and forecasts annual budget
- Flexible to travel and work nonstandard hours as required to meet business needs

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 10 plus years of related experience
- Minimum of 6 years general management experience including managing people
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Proficiency in MS SharePoint

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $116,400 to $224,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $139,600 to $254,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
