The Innovation Hive, within Tax Technology & Transformation, helps EY Tax & Law teams and clients navigate this change by identifying where technology can have the greatest impact and turning opportunities into practical solutions.

By joining the Innovation Hive’s Sales & Growth team as a Senior Associate, you will help transform how EY delivers services to clients, while also advising clients on how technology can support the operation and future direction of their tax functions. You will build trusted relationships, solve complex problems and bring people together to make change happen.

Your key responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with EY Tax & Law leaders, EY client teams and clients, connecting people across the organisation and creating opportunities for greater collaboration and growth.
• Support EY teams, clients and senior leaders with technology-enabled transformation activities, helping stakeholders define their ambition, prioritise opportunities and shape a clear approach to adoption and implementation.

• Take ownership over key tasks, workstreams or aspects within client projects, to support senior leaders and teams execute on project plans and deliver on success metrics.

• Support with, and in some cases lead, technology workshops, client demonstrations, and stakeholder sessions, making complex ideas clear and relevant for different audiences.
• Bring together tax knowledge, data and emerging technology, including AI, to develop innovative solutions to real business problems.
• Translate stakeholder and user feedback into clear requirements and actionable insight for Product, Design and Technology teams, helping influence product roadmaps and future priorities.
• Support go-to-market and growth activity by shaping propositions, preparing proposals and pitch materials, supporting pursuits and helping EY teams position technology effectively with clients.
• Drive opportunities from early ideas through to implementation and adoption, maintaining focus on business and client outcomes.
• Contribute to the wider team by sharing knowledge, supporting colleagues and helping to build capability across the Innovation Hive.

Skills and attributes for success

 What we look for:

• A minimum of three years’ experience in a Big Four or comparable professional services environment, including at least one to two years working on technology, transformation or related consulting projects.
• Experience taking ownership over key tasks, defined workstreams within client-facing technology projects, transformation or consulting engagements.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure ambiguous challenges, ask thoughtful questions and develop practical ways forward.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including the confidence to build credibility with senior stakeholders and influence across teams.
• Experience working with technology-enabled solutions, digital products, data or AI, including identifying relevant use cases or translating business needs into clear requirements.
• Experience supporting business development or go-to-market activity, such as preparing proposals, contributing to pitches, delivering demonstrations or developing client propositions.
• The ability to manage competing priorities, organise work effectively and maintain progress across multiple workstreams as needs evolve.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience supporting business or technology transformation, change, product adoption, innovation or go-to-market activity.
• Experience facilitating workshops, presenting solutions or translating stakeholder needs into requirements, roadmaps or implementation plans.
• An understanding of tax function challenges or tax processes, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a transformation context.
• Commercial awareness and experience identifying opportunities to create value for clients or grow existing services and solutions.
• A tax, technology or change management qualification would be beneficial.
