The opportunity
EY has curated a dynamic ecosystem of Alliance and Ecosystem relationships which creates new forms of customer value to help our clients rapidly and digitally transform. Our ecosystem consists of more than 100 relationships which allow us to provide a wide range of collaborative opportunities and solutions to our clients. We help them tap into the latest technologies to achieve transformational outcomes and be more agile, innovative, resilient and better equipped to respond to disruptive change.
The EY–Microsoft Alliance plays a critical role in driving revenue growth by identifying, shaping, and closing joint transformation opportunities between EY, Microsoft, and our clients. As the Alliance evolves, transacting solutions through Microsoft-aligned commercial models—including CSP and Marketplace—is becoming a core enabler of growth, scalability and client value.
As a Global Microsoft Alliance Marketplace & Resale Manager, you will be responsible for defining and managing EY’s global Microsoft resale and marketplace capability. This includes governance and execution of CSP (primarily Indirect CSP), enablement of resale transactions across regions, and establishing EY’s presence and performance on the Microsoft commercial marketplace.
You will work closely with global alliance leadership, regional teams, Microsoft stakeholders, risk management, legal and finance teams to ensure resale and marketplace activity is scalable, compliant and commercially effective. This is a critical role with direct impact on revenue realization, risk management and the ability for EY to transact Microsoft-enabled solutions in a consistent and controlled way.
This role requires strong experience in Microsoft commercial models (CSP and marketplace), combined with the ability to navigate complex risk, legal and operational environments, and translate these into practical enablement for the business.
Your key responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Global Resale & CSP Leadership: Manage EY’s global Microsoft resale operating model, with ownership of CSP (Indirect CSP model), including governance, transaction models and enablement across regions.
- Marketplace Strategy & Management: Own and manage EY’s Microsoft Marketplace capability, including solution listing lifecycle, governance, quality standards, and alignment with EY–Microsoft go-to-market priorities.
- Transaction Enablement: Enable EY teams to execute resale and marketplace transactions (including CSP and private offers), providing clear guidance, support and oversight to ensure efficient execution and alignment to wider business requirements and processes.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight: Lead coordination across Risk Management, Legal, Independence and Finance to ensure resale and marketplace activities meet EY policies, contractual requirements and external compliance obligations.
- Program Development: Design and implement repeatable processes, frameworks and playbooks for resale and marketplace execution, improving consistency and reducing friction for EY teams in market.
- Future Readiness: Support the evolution of EY’s Microsoft commercial models, including readiness for Direct CSP (if required) and scaling marketplace-based transactable solutions.
This role is optimally based in the Europe (UK, Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Poland). You can anticipate a mix of virtual work along with regular coordination with other team members across Global and across the Globe. The role will require some travel.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have:
One of either:
- Marketplace Expertise: Experience transacting through or managing solutions on the commercial marketplace (e.g. private offers, solution listings, co-sell alignment). Microsoft Marketplace-specific experience is preferred.
OR
- Microsoft Commercial Model Expertise: Experience with Microsoft CSP (particularly Indirect CSP), licensing, commercial structures and transaction processes. Experience with Direct CSP models is desirable;
Plus, the following,

- Risk & Compliance Knowledge: Strong understanding of risk management, legal, contracting and independence considerations in a professional services or technology environment.
- Operational & Program Leadership: Ability to design and implement scalable processes, frameworks and governance models to support global execution.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to work across complex, global organizations and influence senior stakeholders across business, legal, finance and alliance teams.
- Communication & Enablement Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to simplify complex commercial constructs and enable account teams to act confidently.
- Results-Driven Mindset: Ability to balance strategic design with hands-on execution, driving measurable outcomes in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with key sectors such as financial services, healthcare, technology and public sector.
- Commercial Acumen: Experience structuring complex, multi-party technology deals with commercial and risk considerations.
- Certifications: Microsoft or relevant commercial/licensing certifications.
