As the Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC) function, we collaborate with the business to deliver innovative, audience-centric brand, marketing and communications. Our team is an integrated global network of over 2,500 professionals with skills in content development, editorial, webcast creation, events-staging, strategy, and operations.
The Opportunity:
As the Social Media Marketing Leader within the global Brand, Marketing, and Communications (BMC) function, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing our next phase of social media to develop a social and influencer first brand marketing strategy behind key brand and GTM campaigns. EY has built a strong social presence, but with the rise of the creator economy, influencers and social media channels often the primary way to engage our audiences, we are developing the next phase where we want all brand marketing campaigns to be developed with a social first mindset, .
The ideal candidate is a strategic digital native who pairs a strong understanding of impactful paid creative and marketing strategies across social media platforms, content and trends that drive brand performance, campaign and sales demand, with robust skills in branding, marketing and creative content development.
The Global Social Brand and Marketing Leader will works collaboratively with the Global Social Media Leader, which leads on all reputation building, PR , leadership communications and manages overall reputation and platform governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Content & Marketing Strategy Development:
- Create and implement a comprehensive social media creative and marketing strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
- Help define digital channels strategy, with a clear and distinct role for each platform.
- Lead digital and social media brand marketing programs with impact on top, middle and bottom of the funnel.
- Demonstrate the ability to drive brand shifting and demand generation programs including engagement of thought leadership
- Works closely with the brand and creative teams to elevate brand and creative campaign to be developed, where appropriate with a social-first mindset
- Identify target audiences and tailor content to engage them effectively.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Oversee the creation of engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok + others).
- Alongside the social and PR teams, co-manage the editorial lens and content calendar to ensure timely and business relevant posts.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
- Develop pre testing and insights to optimize strategies and improve engagement.
- Community Engagement:
- Working closely with the Global Social Media team, actively engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage online community interactions of marketing social content.
- Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand advocates.
- Trend Monitoring:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
- Experiment with new platforms, styles/approaches and technologies to enhance our brand and drive demand.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, marketing, PR and social media, to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Significant experience in global social media leadership, ideally within a large, global, matrix organization years of experience in digital and social media marketing, with a proven track record of successful campaigns that drive demand and transform brands and managing senior stakeholders.
- Strong team player
- Deep understanding of digital and social media, its channels and social-first content. This includes work experience on platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat and Reddit.
- Ability to use social media to drive impact in top, middle and bottom of the funnel
- Experienced working with infliuencer and content creator experience
- Ability to develop the right voice for each social media platform and build social media communities.
- Promote innovation in the social space by maintaining a deep understanding of the landscape and using data to sell ideas internally
- Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
- A creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and brand building.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A track record of award winning work

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges. - We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $128,700 to $247,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $154,500 to $281,600. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
