The role

The Graphic Designer is core to the design of our sessions. They help shape the way that wavespace London Bridge communicates both internally and externally. You will work with a team of multi-disciplined creatives who create and elevate the client experience from a human perspective. You are an amazing storyteller with a sharp eye for detail who loves picking up new skills. You know how and when to use different media to create exceptional experiences for our clients.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
  • Execute on a broad range of creative projects across physical, digital and motion
  • Create content (for example, interactive presentations, illustrations, animation, video content etc) for client experiences
  • Keep wavespace London Bridge’s design standards across all assets
  • Work with a range of media and keep up to date with emerging technologies
  • Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and layouts
  • Work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists when needed

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • 2+ years of relevant graphic design experience
  • Passion and enthusiasm for innovation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • A flexible approach when working in a team
  • Application experience: Essential; Adobe Creative Suite, White boards, Office
  • Nice to have; Premier Pro and After Effects, Figma
  • Excellent communications and presentation kills (both written and verbal)
  • Experience or interest in impactful storytelling
  • Confidence with ambiguity
  • Time management skills and the ability to cope with several projects at once
  • Be open to feedback and willing to make changes to your designs
  • A razor-sharp eye for detail
  • Stand out portfolio


Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Ability to quickly pick up new software / tools quickly as the wavespace toolkit evolves
  • Experience of designing multiple day events for external clients
  • Video/editing/animation/web development skills
  • Relevant degree, HND or design-based qualification
  • Passion for interior and experiential design
  • A brilliant back story and/or superpower
