The opportunity


Our EMEIA FSO talent team is transforming and the way we manage and use our talent data is changing. We need enhanced management information (MI) to help us to better support the business in making the right decisions. This enhanced MI will also enable us to more effectively track and monitor our performance/contribution to strategic business priorities, and as a service provider. This position will provide the right candidate with a unique opportunity to create a change that drives strategic and operational benefits for our EMEIA FSO talent team and our EMEIA FSO business.

 

Your key responsibilities


You will be responsible for developing and delivering a robust data analytics and Management Information approach to aid strategic focus and assess effectiveness of our EMEIA FSO talent team.  

 

You would need to:

  • Work across our talent functions, assessing current state data analytics requirements and methodology and make/deliver upon recommended changes (converting legacy reports to new solutions)
  • Translate business requirements to technical reporting requirements to meet business needs
  • Design, develop, test and implement reports/analysis that utilise the underlying talent data from numerous sources using different tools/methods
  • Responsible for preparing and delivering current reporting analytics requirements
  • Translate the data into a story that informs leaderships and how the story contributes to our EMEIA FSO strategic priorities 
  • Be an active member of the management team to define project scope, execution, and implementation plans
  • Contribute innovate ideas to build our robust management information approach  
  • Use project standards to provide effective project support and ensure project delivery is on time/budget and to the required standard
  • Manage stakeholders to ensure they are engaged, informed and consulted as appropriate
  • Actively manage project risks and issues, recommend solutions to effectively overcome these and regularly report on status and progress
  • Manage team members to deliver on reporting and information management requirements upholding EY values, fostering innovative and team-orientated work environment
  • Own relationship with our global, regional and Host reporting analytics teams, sharing knowledge and insights and leverage global analytics and tools to support EMEIA FSO
  • Influence the Global analytics teams to build a robust platform for talent data management and reporting

    • Strong analytical and technical skillset
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to translate the data into a story and be able to articulate how these contributions to our strategic priorities
    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organisation building trusted relationships
    • Ability to translate the needs of the business for Global analytics team analyst to develop solutions 
    • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset 
    • Ability to be both highly practical and have a strategic perspective
    • Ability to cope with complexity and ambiguity and readily embrace change
    • High level of motivation and self-starting attitude
  • Desirable:
    • Strong knowledge and experience of broad spectrum of data analytics tools and technology
    • Experience in developing management information frameworks and approaches
    • Experience managing teams and providing direction to team members
    • Experience of working in an EMEIA role with the ability to work across organisational and geographical boundaries
