As Growth & Future Skill Director, you’ll elevate how we understand and apply the new frontier of AI augmented work in our organization. You will be at the forefront of how EY leverage technologies such as Generative AI by building the knowledge, skills and capabilities that will be a key driver of how we embrace the future of work and how we create value for our clients.
 

The opportunity


As Growth & Future Skill Director, you will be responsible for enabling AI and future of work knowledge and skills as a foundational component of EY’s commitment to an organization-wide culture that embraces AI. This is your challenge to influence and shape the AI and future of work skills landscape of EY and our clients, to build a powerful AI legacy.

 

Your focus will be across developing and leading research in AI’s impact on work that ensure EY are at the forefront of how AI is changing learning and behaviour at work, while driving impact through your leadership of the development and implementation of learning programs and products, ensuring a balance between vision and execution. Your work will bolster EY’s position as a leader in the field of AI and the impact on the future of work and required skills development.
 

Your EY responsibilities

 

  • Build and drive the global AI Learning Strategy 
    • Create and lead a compelling, innovative strategy for AI learning that positions EY as an industry leader in 'AI and Future of Work' skills and learning.
  • Lead the team 
    • Assemble and lead a high-performing, multi-disciplinary and cross-functional ‘AI & Future of Work’ team across the disciplines of AI, learning, behavioural change and organizational practice who will drive the strategy, build its products and deliver its initiatives.
  • Set the research agenda on AI and future of work skills and capabilities
    • Build and lead an 'AI & Future of Work' research and experimentation approach that serves as an engine of innovation for EY’s AI learning initiatives; producing cutting-edge research, prototypes, solutions and strategies that create a proprietary innovation pipeline for learning initiatives.
    • Advise EY leadership on emerging AI skills trends, projections for AI education and skills, and what’s required to drive success in how we’ll work in the future.
    • Engage and partner with leading research bodies and thought leaders to stay at the cutting-edge of AI skills.
  • Drive the impact of AI learning on how we work
    • Lead the design, development, and rollout of a comprehensive AI curriculum that integrates seamlessly into all levels of the organisation ranging from novices to experts, to build skills and enable the shaping, selling and delivery of AI work and tools.
    • Build upon and elevate existing AI education programs / solutions which presently include an AI Bootcamp, AI Now, and an Executive AI Series.
    • Engage cross-functionally with stakeholders globally to evaluate AI learning needs, and orchestrate activities in order to enable AI-driven learning solutions.
    • Continually assess the effectiveness of AI learning initiatives and amend strategies in reflection of changing technological advancements, strategic initiatives, or competitive pressures.
  • Create the networks that drive adoption and foster innovation
    • Drive adoption and change management across the organization by building and engaging a network of AI and Future of Work champions and advocates across EY.
    • Foster and nurture relationships with tech industry leaders, academic institutions, and learning technology providers that supports the research and development of AI and future of work skills and learning.
  • Support / develop market activities 
    • Support, and potentially develop, market offerings in the AI learning area, and help drive the utilisation of AI learning as a supporting capability of go-to market activities for AI.
    • Build and scale knowledge of AI to drive EY business goals
    • Partner across EY to ensure solutions designed in collaborative way and meet client needs.

  • Proven expertise in leading AI learning initiatives within top-tier global organizations.
  • Outstanding leadership skills, incorporating team building, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale capability building programs that drive measurable business impact and employee engagement.
  • Proficient in lucidly and adaptively communicating complex AI concepts to varied audiences from fresh recruits to executives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of a global organization.
  • A nuanced understanding of AI basics, coupled with experience in machine learning, natural language processing, and other AI technologies.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to engage with rapidly changing technology trends and disruptions in business environments, and use them to advance organizational learning
  • Extensive experience in successfully orchestrating and managing high-stakes, multifaceted projects with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record leading transformative learning with a focus on AI and emerging technologies.
  • 10+ years leading the design and implementing of large-scale learning programs in global organisations
  • A postgraduate degree in a relevant field such as Learning and Development, Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, or Organizational Development 
  • Certifications and/or proven experience as a Product Leader, ideally focused on the development of learning solutions and/or products. 
  • Experience In the development of commercial learning products and/or experience in the commercial business of learning 
     
 
What we offer
 
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges.
 
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $185,700 to $367,700. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $222,900 to $417,900. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
