The opportunity
As the leader of the Business Change Management team, you will be accountable for designing and managing business change campaigns to implement then drive adoption of technology products across all of EY’s employees. You’ll have the opportunity to enable EY’s employees to adopt new ways of working, creating compelling business change campaigns that resonate at all levels of the company, and reinforcing EY’s contribution to building a better working world.

 

Your key responsibilities
The Business Change Management Lead is expected to lead a team of five to ten Business Change Management professionals to support large, complex change projects across the Enterprise Technology organization. 

 

The role requires creation of holistic business change plans tailored on number of variables such as product, audience, legal/regulatory practices and understanding of digital adoption for user classification across the adoption curve to drive different behavioral ways to increase productivity. The incumbent must understand market / user demands, have built and run adoption change campaigns in the past in scale, have a firm voice and opinion, whilst also possessing the project management skillset to plan, report, communicate, drive etc.

 

This is a non-client facing role, with great flexibility to work from a home office with limited travel. This role is guided by the BRM Service Adoption Lead.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Business Change Management Expertise: Understanding of change management principles, methodologies and tools to effectively manage transitions within the organization.  Approximately 8-10 years of experience leading and managing complex business change plans for technology updates.  Typical deliverables expected Change readiness assessment, End user impact assessment, business change plan and stakeholder register
  • Technology Expertise: Experience delivering change programs in Mobile, Security, Microsoft M365 and Collaboration products and services.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align change initiatives with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Capability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate teams, influence stakeholders, and drive change initiatives.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey messages clearly and effectively to various audiences.
  • Project Management: Proficiency in project management techniques to plan, execute, and monitor change initiatives.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decision-making and assess the impact of changes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skills in identifying, engaging, and managing relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and manage uncertainty in a dynamic business environment.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • PROSCI certification is highly desirable
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Demonstrate adaptability having a primary focus but also executing multiple project assignments with varying scope
  • Consultative questioning, influencing and critical / innovative thinking skills
  • Experience managing indirect resources from other teams
  • Expertise with reporting and analytics and a strong bias toward data-driven decisions
  • Experience with content production and planning calendars 
  • Familiarity with gamification, leaderboards and other engagement tactics
