The Opportunity
As part of EY Studio+, EY’s team focused on design, customer experience and marketing, our UX/UI and Service Design professionals work every day to create and improve meaningful service and digital product experiences.
We support organizations across different sectors in designing relevant, user-centered and impactful solutions, combining research, strategy, creativity and technology. As a UX/UI Designer – Mid-level / Senior Consultant, you will play an active role in designing end-to-end digital experiences, transforming user insights and business needs into functional, accessible and visually engaging interfaces.

Your Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate in the design of end-to-end digital experiences, from research and discovery to prototyping and final interface design.
• Conduct UX research activities, including user interviews, surveys, friction-point identification, opportunity mapping and usability testing.
• Define and design information architecture, user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes and visual interfaces.
• Ensure visual consistency, usability and the application of digital accessibility principles across different products and experiences.
• Create, use and contribute to design systems, brand guidelines and reusable design components.
• Prepare clear, structured and visually consistent deliverables and presentations to document and communicate project outcomes.
• Participate in client meetings, collaborative sessions and workshops.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including service designers, consultants, developers and client stakeholders.
• Contribute with a critical mindset, going beyond initial requests to identify user needs, business opportunities and improvement areas.

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Visual Design, UX/UI Design, Communication Design or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI Design.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Ability to understand and apply UX research concepts and methodologies.
• Experience in designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes and visual interfaces.
• Knowledge of design systems, prototyping and UI design best practices.
• Ability to use qualitative and quantitative data to support design decisions.
• Fluency in English.
• Availability to work in a hybrid model in Lisbon or Porto.
• Strong communication skills and ability to present concepts and recommendations to different stakeholders.
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
• Experience or knowledge in visual design or communication design.
• Knowledge of UX Writing principles.
• Knowledge of Design Thinking methodologies.
• Experience in facilitating or supporting collaborative workshops.
• Experience working in consulting environments or with clients from different sectors.
• Awareness of digital accessibility principles and best practices.
