Senior / Manager - SAP Logistics | Lisboa

The opportunity

EY is looking for an SAP SD / Warehouse Management Consultant to join our rapidly expanding Technology Delivery Solution – SAP team. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in SAP SD and Order-to-Cash processes, combined with hands-on experience in Warehouse Management solutions (SAP WM and/or SAP EWM), supporting end-to-end logistics transformations across sales, distribution, warehousing and fulfillment processes.

Your key responsibilities

• Design and deliver strategic SAP projects focused on SAP SD and Warehouse Management modules;
• Gather business requirements and analyse end-to-end logistics and warehouse processes;
• Prepare functional specifications;
• Prepare and contribute to process design workshops, business process procedures, system configuration and solution demonstrations;
• Lead the preparation of test scenarios, end-user documentation and user manuals;
• Configure SAP SD and SAP WM/EWM modules and corresponding business processes;
• Lead business process design across Order-to-Cash and warehouse operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management and warehouse execution processes;
• Lead SAP SD integration with other modules such as MM, PP, EWM and FI to ensure seamless end-to-end business process flows;
• Support clients in defining warehouse transformation roadmaps and adopting SAP S/4HANA logistics capabilities;
• Manage delivery of internal solutions;
• Provide SAP support to clients on an ad-hoc basis when required;
• Understand EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to serve clients;
• Establish professional and trusted relationships with customers and staff;
• Demonstrate the ability to assimilate new knowledge and technologies.

Skills and attributes for success

• Strong functional expertise in SAP SD and Order-To-Cash processes, including Sales Order Processing, Delivery, Billing and Pricing;
• Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics operations, including inventory management, inbound and outbound processes, picking, packing and shipping;
• Experience working on end-to-end logistics process improvements across sales, warehousing and distribution environments;
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels;
• Comfortable presenting to external audiences;
• Ability to work with internal and external customers to ensure quality of work, professionalism and customer satisfaction;
• Flexible regarding work environment and assignments;
• Comfortable working across multiple client engagements and travelling when required;
• Strong team player;
• Drives own personal development and learning plan;
• Actively contributes to practice development.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Academic education in financial, technological and/or analytical fields of study;
• Experience of at least three SAP project cycles within a consulting environment;
• Relevant experience in SAP SD and SAP Warehouse Management (WM and/or EWM);
• Experience in SAP module configuration;
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA;
• Strong experience in SAP WM and/or SAP EWM implementation and configuration;
• Proven experience integrating SAP SD with Warehouse Management solutions (WM/EWM) and other logistics modules such as MM and PP;
• Knowledge of warehouse automation, inventory management and logistics execution processes;
• High-level understanding of the digital transformation agenda;
• Strong client-facing skills and comfort in both delivery and pre-sales environments;
• Project management skills;
• Full English proficiency, both written and spoken. Additional languages are considered a plus.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience leading at least one end-to-end SAP SD and Warehouse Management implementation project, from design through deployment and hypercare;
• Experience in logistics transformation, supply chain optimisation or warehouse modernisation initiatives;
• SAP SD and/or SAP EWM certifications.
