The opportunity
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic and hard-working professional, who is looking for a challenging career move, to join our ITTS team as a Senior.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in tax due diligence projects concerning various taxes applicable in Portugal;
- Conduct tax diagnostics for different tax obligations in Portugal;
- Provide tax advisory services in transaction processes, particularly in the tax structuring of investments and divestments;
- Review the tax aspects of financial models;
- Assess the tax implications of transaction-related documents, such as Sale and Purchase Agreements (SPA) and Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) agreements;
- Manage teams involved in cross-border transactions.

To qualify for the role, the candidate must have
- Academic Degree in Economics, Law, Tax, Accounting or similar financial fields of studies;
- At least 2 years of professional experience in Tax and Transaction Services;
- Wiliness to focus in International law and international taxation;
- Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
- Full English proficiency;
- Availability to work in Portugal and / or abroad;
- Availability to attend EY’s international tax and transaction courses / events.
