Project Manager - Managed Services | Lisboa
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Managed Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end service delivery projects, ensuring operational excellence, client satisfaction, and continuous service improvement. You will act as the main point of contact between internal teams and clients, managing scope, timelines, risks, and resources in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Managed Services projects and ongoing service engagements from initiation through delivery and transition to steady-state operations
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring clear communication, alignment of expectations, and high levels of customer satisfaction
- Plan, monitor, and control project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, ensuring delivery in line with agreed SLAs and KPIs
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (technical teams, operations, vendors, and stakeholders) to ensure effective service delivery
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project and operational risks, escalating issues when necessary
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service efficiency, performance, and value delivered to the client
- Ensure proper governance, documentation, reporting, and compliance with internal methodologies and client requirements
- Support service transitions, onboarding of new clients or services, and change management activities
- Prepare and present regular status reports, project updates, and performance metrics to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in Managed Services, IT Services, or a similar service delivery environment
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams in an international or matrix environment
- Solid understanding of SLAs, KPIs, service delivery models, and operational governance
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Nice to Have
- Project Management certification
- Experience working with global clients and distributed teams
- Background in IT Operations, Application Support, Infrastructure, or Cloud-based services
- Knowledge of ITIL or service management frameworks
