The opportunity
The evaluation of government and public sector programs and policies is one of the fields of activity that is part of the EY Parthenon's Growth Strategy pillar. As Manager, specialized in the evaluation of public programs and policies, you will be part of the mission of building successful, purpose-driven organizations with sustainable growth strategies for long-term value.
Your key responsibilities
- Elaborating and managing evaluation studies about national and European programs and policies;
- Developing and monitoring projects and studies for the public sector in Portugal and for the European Commission;
- Analyzing and evaluating sectorial, regional, urban and thematic public policies;
- Impact assessment and analysis;
- Managing economic studies and consultancy;
- Team management;
- Establishing professional and trust relationships with customers and staff;
- Contributing to the team’s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best results.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Academic education in Economics or other social sciences;
- More than 5 years of professional experience in evaluating public programs and/or policies;
- Knowledge about structural funds support;
- Experience in team coordination;
- Good informatic skills;
- Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
- Availability to work in Portugal and abroad;
- Full English Proficiency.
