The opportunity


EY Cabo Verde is strengthening its administrative support team and is looking for a Secretary to support the smooth and efficient operation of the firm. This role is essential to ensure high-quality administrative support, effective communication and professional coordination across teams. At EY, you will work in a dynamic, multicultural and professional environment, where reliability, organization and collaboration are key to our success.


 
Your key responsibilities
 
•    Provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to partners, managers and teams;
•    Manage agendas, schedule meetings, prepare meeting rooms and coordinate logistics;
•    Organize, draft and format correspondence, reports and presentations;
•    Maintain organized filing systems and ensure proper document control;
•    Act as a first point of contact for clients, visitors and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional image of EY;
•    Handle incoming and outgoing communications (emails, phone calls, mail);
•    Support internal processes such as expense management, invoices and administrative reporting;
•    Coordinate travel arrangements and other logistical needs;
•    Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive and confidential information;

To qualify for the role, you must have
 
•    Academic qualification in Secretarial Studies, Administration, Management or a related field;
•    Relevant professional experience in a similar administrative or secretarial role;
•    Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese;
•    Proficiency in English is required; 
•    Ability to work in a professional, multicultural and fast-paced environment.
