The Opportunity
We are building an AI & Data Hub at EY-Parthenon Portugal, designed to serve countries across the Europe West region and drive advanced analytics and AI solutions.
As a Data Scientist, you will be part of this strategic initiative, shaping decisions through predictive models, innovative experiments, and actionable insights for high-impact projects across diverse industries.
Your key responsibilities
- Conduct experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize performance.
- Extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with domain experts to ensure models meet business needs.
- Design and develop predictive, prescriptive, and generative AI models.
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and integrate best practices.
To qualify for this role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or other related.
- 3–5 years of experience in Data Science or advanced analytics roles.
- Advanced knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.
- Strong programming skills (Python, R) and familiarity with ML frameworks.
- Ability to design experiments and validate models.
- Data wrangling and feature engineering expertise.
- Communication skills to explain complex models to non-technical audiences.
Ideally, you will also have
- Previous experience in consulting or strategic projects.
- Knowledge of financial modeling and integration with predictive analytics.
- Exposure to MLOps and deployment of models in production environments.
