The Opportunity
We are building an AI & Data Hub at EY-Parthenon Portugal, designed to serve countries across the Europe West region and accelerate the adoption of advanced analytics and AI solutions.
As an AI Consultant, you will be at the forefront of transforming businesses through cutting-edge AI technologies, machine learning, and strategic innovation. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to design strategies, develop models, and implement scalable AI solutions that deliver measurable impact. This is a unique chance to combine strategic thinking with technical expertise, contributing to projects that shape the future of industries.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead or support AI-focused client engagements from strategy to implementation.
- Identify and define high-value AI use cases aligned with business objectives.
- Assess technical and operational feasibility of proposed solutions.
- Act as liaison between global teams and local markets to ensure alignment.
- Bring sector-specific expertise to tailor AI solutions for industry needs.
To qualify for this role, you must have
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- 4–6 years of experience in similar roles, preferably in consulting or dynamic environments.
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other relevant programming languages.
- Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and MLOps tools.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Proven experience in designing and implementing AI/ML solutions in real-world business contexts.
- Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience working with large datasets.
