The Opportunity

As part of EY's Financial Services Consulting practice, you will support leading financial institutions in their transformation journeys, helping them improve operational efficiency, modernize processes and accelerate digital adoption through process automation and low-code technologies.
Working at the intersection of business and technology, you will collaborate with clients across the banking, insurance and wealth & asset management sectors to identify business needs, design technology-enabled solutions and support the implementation of automation initiatives. You will play a key role in bridging business requirements and technical delivery, helping organizations unlock value through workflow optimization, BPM and low-code platforms.

Key Responsibilities

•    Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement sessions.
•    Support the assessment, redesign and optimization of business processes, identifying automation opportunities and efficiency improvements.
•    Document process flows, business requirements, user stories, use cases and functional specifications.
•    Develop and maintain AS-IS and TO-BE process models and supporting project documentation.
•    Support backlog creation, prioritization and requirements management activities.
•    Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology-enabled solutions.
•    Contribute to the implementation of workflow, BPM and low-code solutions.
•    Support solution testing, validation and user acceptance activities.
•    Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery of transformation and automation initiatives.
•    Prepare project documentation, presentations and client deliverables.
•    Participate in client meetings, workshops and collaborative sessions.
•    Contribute to process improvement, digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives across Financial Services organizations.

 

To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have

•    2 to 5 years of professional experience in business consulting, business analysis, process transformation or technology-enabled transformation projects.
•    Practical experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management and business analysis activities.
•    Experience documenting business requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, AS-IS and TO-BE models.
•    Experience participating in process automation, workflow management or BPM initiatives.
•    Experience working with more than one low-code, BPM or automation platform, such as Appian, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, Pega, OutSystems or Blue Prism.
•    Ability to bridge business and technology teams, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.
•    Understanding of process improvement, automation and digital transformation concepts.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
•    Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).

Ideally, You'll Also Have

•    Previous experience delivering projects within Banking, Insurance or Wealth & Asset Management.
•    Knowledge of Financial Services processes and operating models.
•    Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
•    Familiarity with backlog management tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira.
•    Experience facilitating workshops and requirements discovery sessions.
•    Certifications or training in Business Analysis, Agile, BPM or low-code platforms.
•    Experience supporting end-to-end digital transformation initiatives.
•    Familiarity with emerging Artificial Intelligence tools, including Microsoft Copilot.
