Business Analyst | Lisboa
Job description
We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Analyst to support in decision‑making, operational efficiency, and strategic initiatives. This role involves gathering and analyzing data, preparing insights and reporting materials, and supporting a variety of internal/external projects aimed at improving performance and enhancing service delivery.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with the ability to clearly communicate findings and collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources; prepare dashboards, performance reports, and management presentations; support monitoring of KPIs, operational metrics, and business performance indicators.
- Operational & Strategic Support: Contribute to internal projects related to process improvement, efficiency, and digital transformation; Assist in planning cycles, budgeting activities, and forecasting exercises; Provide analytical input for strategic discussions and internal decision‑making.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to understand needs, gather information, and support joint initiatives; Assist in preparing materials for leadership meetings, internal reviews, and planning sessions.
- Business Insights & Market Understanding: Conduct research to identify trends, benchmark practices, and provide context for internal initiatives; Support activities that require understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Finance, or similar.
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, operations, or similar analytical roles.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Portuguese is an advantage.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
