The opportunity
EY is strengthening its Financial Department with the integration of an Accounting Technician, for the Lisbon office.
Your key responsibilities
•Reconciliation of accounts with internal accounting data and preparation of reports
•Validate, organize and classify financial information
•Carry out the analysis and reconciliation of the various accounting items
•Ensure the preparation of the necessary documentation to comply with declarative and tax obligations
•Prepare accounting entries for the closing of the month and year, as well as the necessary documentation for carrying out tax declarations and annual accounts
•Ensure the preparation of the necessary documentation to fulfil obligations
•Produce the open balance sheet report for correspondence between companies
•Ensure compliance with accounting and internal procedures in alignment with company policies
•Perform other administrative tasks associated with the role

To qualify for the role, you must have
•Academic training in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Management or similar financial area
•Minimum professional experience of 1 to 2 years in similar functions, ideally in a multinational environment
•Mastery of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
•Knowledge of spoken and written English
Ideally, you’ll also have
•Knowledge of SAP
