Zonal Manager/ Operations Manager (Contract)
Job description
We are looking for a skilled and dynamic Zonal Manager to join our team and drive collaboration across key stakeholders. This role focuses on building and maintaining strategic relationships with Technology, Global Business and Finance teams (GB/GF), and Market Data teams to ensure smooth execution of critical projects. As the central point of contact for the execution product-oriented delivery (POD), you will manage escalations, align stakeholders, and secure approvals from process owners and other key contributors.
The opportunity
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Establish, maintain, and nurture relationships with Technology teams (IT Security Officers/IT Architects), GB/GFs, and Market Data teams.
- Serve as the primary point of contact (SPOC) for Process Owners/SMEs, coordinating with the India Core Delivery Team (execution POD).
Escalation Management:
- Address and resolve escalations raised by the execution POD in collaboration with Technology, Market, and Process GB/GF teams.
Process Coordination:
- Facilitate required sign-offs from process owners and relevant stakeholders across the data usage control process value chain.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and stakeholder alignment.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong project management experience with excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to interact with senior stakeholders, including MD-level executives, on a daily basis
- Robust knowledge of banking processes and operations
- Experience managing data projects is a significant advantage
- Proficiency in team management and leadership
Ideally, you’ll also have
- A results-oriented professional with a strong background in banking and technology operations.
- Adept at handling high-pressure situations, resolving escalations, and driving consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Capable of managing complex projects with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes.
