In today's fast-evolving financial landscape, risk management plays a critical role in helping organisations maintain stability and resilience. At EY, our Financial Services Consulting team works with leading institutions to enhance their risk oversight frameworks, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen portfolio monitoring practices.

As part of this journey, Single Name Concentration (SNC) monitoring has become a key focus area in managing exposure risks and maintaining sound credit portfolios. Joining our team means working at the forefront of risk analytics and gaining exposure to large-scale client environments, regulatory standards, and strategic risk assessments.

The opportunity

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical professional to support Single Name Concentration (SNC) monitoring activities within the financial services sector. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with risk and credit management teams to assess and manage concentration risk across portfolios.

You will play an integral role in identifying high-exposure accounts, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory limits, and supporting data-driven decisions that strengthen our clients’ risk posture. This position also offers exposure to risk analytics, portfolio-level reporting, and cross-functional collaboration, making it an ideal opportunity for professionals looking to grow in credit and risk management.

Your key responsibilities

  • Monitor SNC exposures to ensure alignment with internal limits and regulatory guidelines.
  • Perform risk assessments of accounts with high concentration risk, analyzing potential impacts on the overall portfolio.
  • Collaborate with risk management to recommend adjustments to exposure limits based on portfolio composition and risk profile.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on SNC exposure and concentration limits.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong drive to excel professionally, and to guide and motivate others
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedicated, innovative, resourceful, analytical and able to work under pressure
  • Foster an efficient, innovative and team-oriented work environment

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Approximately 3–4 years of experience in credit risk, covenant monitoring, portfolio monitoring, or a related role in financial services
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams

What we look for

Highly motivated individuals with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize shifting workloads in a rapidly changing industry. An effective communicator, you will be a confident leader equipped with strong people management skills and a genuine passion to make things happen in a dynamic organization. If you are ready to take on a wide range of responsibilities, and are committed to seeking out new ways to make a difference, this role is for you.
