The opportunity

Join a global team, as a Mobility Assignment Services Consultant for Asia East. Reporting into the Regional Team Operations Consultant, you will act as a senior adviser aligning Mobility solutions with business and talent priorities, and maintaining high quality service and operational excellence.

  

Your key responsibilities

  • Own and manage a dedicated caseload of mobility assignments within a specific Service Line (SL) or country grouping,
  • Build trusted relationships with regional and cross-functional stakeholders, advising on Mobility strategy
  • Ensure a positive assignee experience, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement in consistency, responsiveness, and quality.
  • Monitor vendor performance and handle escalations to meet service level agreements
  • Keep up to date with employment law, immigration, tax, and data privacy compliance, assessing impacts on policy and service delivery.
  • Maintain strong HR knowledge to align recruitment, performance, and employee relations practices with Mobility procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with Mobility leaders, and regional stakeholders on matters affecting Global Mobility.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across regions to recommend and implement regional improvements.
  • Responsible for process rollouts, driving change management, and integrating regional feedback into global initiatives.
  • Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. 
  • Serve as an alternate point of escalation for complex cases or service delivery challenges and provide cover for Regional Team Operations Consultant as needed.

 

Due to global nature of the role, willingness to work flexible hours will be required.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

You will have the ability to understand a matrixed organization and communicate effectively to connect our people with each other to drive initiatives forward. You will have knowledge and experience in international mobility at a large multinational firm. You are comfortable handling multi-layered issues and have the ability to navigate complex organizational structures effectively, even in times of ambiguity. You will have strong organizational skills, and be proficient at prioritizing and managing multiple, time-sensitive initiatives simultaneously. 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Strong knowledge and experience of international mobility, policies, processes, and systems
  • Experience in dealing with employment, tax, and immigration legislation
  • Advanced stakeholder engagement and advisory capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages across all organisational levels and cultures
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple objectives
  • Experience overseeing vendor performance and resolving escalations
  • Demonstrated experience in deploying processes and leading change locally
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within virtual or matrixed teams
  • Willingness to work flexibly, including alternative hours due to global responsibilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry best practices

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Knowledge of internal AI tools and HR technology systems
  • Awareness of competitor and market practices
  • Ability to represent Mobility in external networks or forums
