Covenant Monitoring Specialist
Job description
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our FSO Consulting, supporting covenant compliance for one of our key clients in the financial services sector. In this role, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and analysing financial covenant data, identifying early warning indicators, and working with credit officers and relationship managers to recommend corrective actions where needed.
This opportunity offers exposure to a dynamic client environment, hands-on experience in credit risk and compliance monitoring, and the chance to contribute to the delivery of data-driven insights through dashboards and reporting. The opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to join our team in monitoring and managing covenant compliance across assigned accounts. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with credit officers and relationship managers, contributing to proactive risk management and supporting sound credit decisions. You will play a key role in ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and internal credit policies, while gaining exposure to data analysis, reporting, and stakeholder collaboration.
Your key responsibilities
- Oversee compliance with covenants for all assigned accounts, ensuring adherence to contractual terms and credit policies.
- Analyze covenant data periodically to identify early warning indicators, escalating potential breaches when necessary.
- Work directly with credit officers and relationship managers to address covenant breaches and recommend corrective actions.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility on covenant compliance and highlight trends.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Approximately 3–4 years of experience in credit risk, covenant monitoring, or a similar role within financial services
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams
