Audit Intern
Will you be advancing to either your fourth or fifth year of university studies in the academic year of 2024/2025?

Your key responsibilities
• Analyze the correctness of both the data and economic results of companies
• Participate in performing the preliminary and final phases of audits for clients operating in various sectors in the Slovak market
• Be responsible for testing transactions and reviewing the accounting documentation of audited companies
• Communicate with clients and ensure smooth cooperation
• Process and analyze client data in MS Excel and our internal systems
• Continue self-training, study ACCA and grow professionally
The salary is 7,5 €/ hour (gross).

• Fourth to fifth-year (full-time) university student in the 2023/2024 academic year
• Fluent English and Slovak
• Computer literacy (MS Office, advanced in MS Excel)

Your key responsibilities
As a junior member of our Audit Support Services (HUB) team at EY, you will be responsible for preparing and processing underlying documentation for our auditors, as well as your own less complex audits in which our team is involved. You will work with a significant quantity of information, data and numbers, and your role will be to analyze them and prepare data cubes.
• A diverse range of projects that will move you forward: You will be involved in diverse projects, such as processing underlying documentation for audit teams, IT audits, ESG and SIKA audits, and internal control projects. You will collaborate not only with colleagues from Slovakia but also with other EY teams within the region.

Skills and attributes for success
• Minimum of high school (secondary) diploma with school-leaving examination (focused on economics) and work experience, or a university degree
• Prior working experience in a similar position is an advantage, but not required
• Analytical and logical thinking• Good communication skills
• Basic knowledge of accounting
• Good command of English (written communication in English will be required)
• Knowledge of MS Office at user level (Excel and Word are a necessity)
• Knowledge of/experience with SQL, PowerBI and database systems are an advantage
