The opportunity

As a Techno-Functional Testing Manager, you will be accountable & responsible to Prepare test strategy, test plan, test scenario, test scripts based on the project requirements. Execute functional and regression test cases. Report the defects in tracking tool and ensure its closure through STLC process. Involve in review meetings and walk through meetings. Candidate should have experience in L&A minimum of 15+ years of experience in full time Life and Annuities functional testing role Having PMP / PRINCE II certifications will be an added advantage

Skills and attributes for success

• Deft knowledge on Agile SCRUM Methodology
• Understanding the entire modules and their functionality by verifying the Functional Specification and Style guide issued by the client.
• Should have working experience in various Annuities LOB such as Index-linked annuities, fixed and variable annuities, fixed indexed annuities, income annuities, etc (Primary and Must-Have)
• Should have working experience in various Life LOB’s such as Term Life, permanent Life including universal life, indexed universal life, whole life, and variable universal life (Primary and Must-Have)
• Should have expertise working in various Life and Annuities industry COTS technology platforms (Primary and Must-Have)
• Should have domain expertise working in Life and Annuities End-to-End starting from Illustration, New Business , policy and claims administration and downstream applications Functional Value-chain  (Primary and Must-Have)
• Experience in ETL / Conversion / Rating
• Responsible for writing and executing the Test Cases for Functional Testing.
• Maintaining the Bug Reports and delivery Note details.
• Involved in Peer-Review of the test cases, Sanity Testing, Smoke Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing and User Acceptances Testing.
• Involved in review meetings and walk through meetings.
• Attend status calls as needed to report on testing progress
• Understand the framework features and commonly used tools for automation with detailed exposure to GW GT testing framework
• Experienced in implementation of Automation framework for designated functions recommended in SurePath for all Xcenters
• Exposure to CICD execution processes
• Good understanding different level of automation and tool evaluation process
• Evaluate Automation test estimates
• Create and review automation test strategy
• Basic coding knowledge to understand automation project and facilitate issue resolution
• Complete understanding automation integrated with DevOps
• Basic exposure to Performance testing of Guidewire projects – OnPrem / Cloud using commercial tools like Jmeter or Loadrunner

To qualify for the role, you must have

• BE/BTech/MCA/M.Sc.
• 15+years of testing experience in Life and Annuities Insurance domain with Agile methodology.
• At least 3 years of Project Management Experience in managing automation and Manual programs
• End to End view on test automation process including GW cloud
• Having PMP / PRINCE II certifications will be an added advantage
• Trained on Java, Selenium, BDD, Test café, Karate API, Bitbucket, TeamCity

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Should have excellent communication skills & should be able to articulate concisely & clearly
• Should be able to understand script logic and to help team to do scripting
• Experience in Selenium, Java and any other automation tool Should be ready to do an individual contributor
