Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing operational transitions for our clients and ensuring that the transitions are implemented according to schedule and budget.
- Developing project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
- Ensuring stakeholders are engaged and that deliverables are met
- Offering expert advice and recommendations to stakeholders
- Identifying, allocating, and managing resources
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Defining and documenting transition processes, standard operating procedures, and best practices
- Managing effective communication between internal teams and clients
- Assessing existing environments to identify areas for improvement
- Working with cross-functional teams to ensure transitions are executed seamlessly
- Spotting any transition-related issues and creating effective solutions to resolve them swiftly.
- Coordinating any major transitions for the client, covering all aspects including but not limited to financial, technological, operational, and governance changes.
- Manage standard Service Design and Transition Management processes that ensure service reliability and consistency.
- Champion of Service Design and Transition Management, actively improving and optimizing processes.
- Understand, communicate, and apply the principles and approach of industry standard frameworks and good practice, e.g. ITIL v3/4, DevOps and Agile.
Skills and attributes for success
- Minimum 12+ years of strong Service Transition background - particularly relating to Service Design, Service Operation and Transition.
- Be a positive influencer with ability to negotiate across both technical and non-technical department
- Strong analysis capability and ability to implement process definition, introduction and improvement. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required along with the ability to discuss technical information to non-technical staff
- Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of transition processes, products and services, within agreed areas of expertise and is able to provide feedback and advice to key Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, Attention to details.
- Hand on experience in service transition methodology.
