The opportunity

• Senior SmartCOMM developer - 6 to 8 Yrs of Experience.

Your key responsibilities

• Creating templates as per requirements in Smartcom, updating schema, using BOS/Data modeler, creation of XMLs.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Regular status reporting to the manager and onsite coordinators.
• Unit and DIT testing of templates created using Postman/SoapUI, support for QA to solve defects, Agileand waterfall methods and experienced in SDLC processes.
• Data model creation using XSD in Data-modeler.
• Based on business requirements, using Advanced Template Designer for the creation of ->Fragments, Shared and Dynamic Shared Contents, Rule usage as per logic, Preview for Testing with sample data.
• Creation of Advanced Template Designer (ATD) & Data Modeler.
• Experience in maintenance and support, maintenance, configuration, testing, integration, and deployment.

Skills and attributes for success

• Should have strong knowledge of CCM development concepts and technologies.
• Experience with SmartComm Modules – Projects, Design, Templates, Layouts, stylesheets, Data Model, Script Library.
• Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining SmartComm applications.
• Experience in development and creating and delivering the different output channels like PDF, Email, PS and PCL
• Strong knowledge about SmartComm APIs.
• Experience in creation of XML/JSON data schema and their mapping to business data objects.
• Well versed in creating the static and responsive layouts.
• Having hands on experience on integrated with Guidewire full suite products will be an added advantage.
• Real time knowledge and experience on enterprise system integration, preferably from Insurance domain background.
• Experience in Insurance domain, preferably in Property & Casualty.
• Should have understanding and experience of software development best practices.
• Excellent business communication skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Prior Client facing experience
• Experience with tools like Service-now, JIRA, soap-UI, Postman, interactive designs any other CCM tools like Opentext, Quadient  should be an added advantage.
• Proficient to lead and mentor junior resources for SmartCOMM technical skills.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Must have experience in SmartComm tool for various document generation and customization with other products.
• Strong knowledge of Core Javascript, XML.
• Experience with API’s and Webservices.
• Well versed in XML schema preparation and mapping to business data objects.

Certification:

• SmartCOMM Certification - Document Template Author - (Good to have).
