  • Job Description – Siebel Administrator (Upgrade Project) Position: Siebel Administrator – Upgrade Project Role Summary: Seeking an experienced Siebel Administrator to support the upgrade, migration, and stabilization of Oracle Siebel CRM environments. The role involves planning and executing Siebel version upgrades, environment management, deployment support, troubleshooting, and coordination with development, infrastructure, and database teams. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute Oracle Siebel CRM upgrade activities across non-production and production environments.
  • Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Siebel components including Gateway, Enterprise Server, Application Interface, and Web Server.
  • Perform environment setup, migration, deployment, and post-upgrade validation.
  • Troubleshoot upgrade-related issues and ensure application stability and performance.
  • Coordinate with developers, DBAs, middleware, and infrastructure teams during upgrade cycles.
  • Support cutover, rollback planning, and production go-live activities.
  • Monitor system health and resolve technical issues during hypercare support.
  • Maintain upgrade documentation, implementation plans, and operational procedures. Required Skills:
  • 9+ years of Siebel Administration experience with at least one end-to-end Siebel upgrade project.
  • Strong knowledge of Siebel architecture, installation, configuration, and migration processes.
  • Experience with Oracle Database, Linux/Unix, and Windows environments.
  • Hands-on experience in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and environment management.
  • Familiarity with deployment automation and change management processes.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred:
  • Experience upgrading to Siebel IP17/IP20+ versions.
  • Oracle Siebel CRM certification.
  • Knowledge of DevOps and automation tools.

Qualification

  • Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science
  • Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical
  • Bachelor of Computer Applications

Experience

  • Backend Development (3+ years)
