Role Overview, Responsibilities, and Requirements
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Power Automate Developer with proven experience in Power Apps to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated workflow solutions using Microsoft Power Platform, focusing on Power Automate and Power Apps. This role is crucial in streamlining business processes, enhancing productivity, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to optimise business operations.
- Create, customise, and maintain Power Apps solutions to address various business requirements.
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft products (such as SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams) and third-party applications.
- Analyse business needs and translate them into technical solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, business analysts, and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices in all developed solutions.
- Provide support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for deployed workflows and apps.
- Document solutions, workflows, and processes for knowledge management and future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Preferred Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate certification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in developing solutions using Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform, including connectors, triggers, and actions.
- Experience in integrating Power Platform with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, Teams, and other Microsoft services.
- Solid grasp of business process automation and workflow design principles.
- Ability to analyse requirements and provide effective technical solutions.
- Knowledge of data sources such as SQL Server, Excel, and cloud services (Azure, Office 365).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI for reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with custom connectors, APIs, and integration techniques.
- Understanding of governance, security, and compliance within the Power Platform.
- Ability to train and guide end-users on solution usage.
