PMO Manager
Department: Project Management Office / Program Management
Job Summary:
The PMO Manager is responsible for leading the Project Management Office and ensuring that projects across the organization are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. This role involves developing and implementing project management frameworks, enforcing governance, and supporting project managers in achieving strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain PMO frameworks, methodologies, and best practices across all projects and programs.
- Monitor project performance and provide status reporting to executive leadership.
- Oversee project portfolio management including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with project governance standards and risk management policies.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and support to project managers and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate project reviews, audits, and lessons learned sessions.
- Manage PMO tools, templates, and dashboards for effective project tracking and reporting.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align projects with business goals and strategic initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes.
Other Expectations:
- Ability to work in different shifts
- Should be working in ODC – 5 days a week
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, IT, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in project management with at least 3 years in a PMO leadership role.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale programs or multi-project environments.
- Strong understanding of project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheet, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with multiple priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Agile, Scrum, or SAFe methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with change management and business transformation initiatives
