The opportunity
Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) professionals provide advisory services including Accounting and regulatory support for accounting change and special matters; accounting processes and controls support.
We are looking for an experienced professional with strong focus on Enterprise Performance management (EPM) areas to join EY FAAS team. The ideal candidate will bring subject matter expertise in FP&A and/or Consolidation & Reporting processes to enhance our FAAS services.
Within EY FAAS practice, the Finance Transformation Experts team build and develop client relationship with our regional stakeholders. We are part of an integrated global network of professionals who develop, design and optimise client service business processes for efficiency and high performance. We leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings and articulate presentations that communicate proposals, strategies, plans and outcomes.
Your key responsibilities
- Technical Delivery and Subject Matter Expertise -
- Working with clients to understand business challenges and identify solution to drive desired outcomes
- Performing current state assessment of client accounting, reporting, and reconciliation
- Developing system requirements, designing, user acceptance test stories, training, defining support procedure and implementing with specific focus on Workiva Wdesk, Wdata and integration with data source system/s
- Mapping data flow and to identify optimal design and governance option as well as potential risk
- Using Wdata & Wdesk to create templates, connections, data flows, integrations, etc
- Focus accounting and finance domain area of reporting and data management including financial, management regulatory reporting, internal controls, global statutory reporting
- Redesign processes to eliminate inefficiencies and incorporate best practices
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, regulations, and advancements in reporting optimization process, sharing knowledge and insights with the team
- Support project management activities, including project planning, resource allocation, and monitoring project progress
- Proficient in developing KPIs, performance value driver analysis, and implementing Driver based planning models
- Develop detailed documentation and deliver training programs and workshops to enhance end user understanding and proficiency in Reporting solution during the handover
- Business Development & Solution Development -
- Lead pursuit teams to understand client problem statements & formulate that in solutions
- Lead developing client specific solutions for the engagement team
- Lead proposal development or lead proposal teams
- Lead collaboration with market teams to develop relationship and drive business growth for EY
- Collaborate cross service lines to ensure smooth execution of the project.
- Lead development of internal capability development and lead training sessions to coach internal teams to develop capability
- Lead operational initiatives within the practice areas.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduate or MBA with 2-6 years of relevant experience
- Experience in end-to-end implementation of Workiva solution in Financial Reporting, ESG and GRC space.
- Experience in current state analysis (As is), future state analysis (To be), process optimization, process documentation, data integration, and data analytics
- Strong communication, team building, teaming and presentation experience
- Experience in SQL and system integration
- Experience with ETL tools (Power BI, Alteryx)
- Experience in leading and developing team
- Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments/responsibilities
- Experience and certified with Workiva solution.
