Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

The Opportunity

As a Treasury Senior, you will play a key role in supporting end-to-end treasury operations for the client, including cash and liquidity management, payments, bank account administration, reconciliations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, banking partners, and senior leadership while driving operational efficiency, control, and service excellence in a dynamic global environment.

 

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
  • Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
  • Cash & Liquidity Management:
    • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure optimal liquidity across accounts.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts considering all known information and based on established procedures
    • Coordinate internal fund transfers to optimize working capital.
  • Payments:
    • Carry out payment runs as per the established policies and procedures.
    • Initiate the necessary FX conversions/treasury transfers for funding payment runs.
    • Prioritize payments based on available cash and client policies/instructions.
    • Investigate rejected/returned payments
    • Provide payment proof as requested by stakeholders
  • Bank Account Administration:
    • Manage the opening, closing, and maintenance of corporate bank accounts.
    • Ensure proper documentation and approvals for account-related activities.
    • Maintain accurate bank account records, signatory updates, and banking mandates.
    • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and banking partners for account-related queries.
  • Bank Portal Management:
    • Administer online banking platforms, including user access management and security controls.
    • Ensure timely updates of banking permissions and system configurations.
    • Support troubleshooting of banking platform issues and liaise with banks for resolution.
    • Implement best practices for secure and efficient use of banking portals.
  • Bank Reconciliation:
    • Perform timely and accurate reconciliation of bank transactions.
    • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
    • Work with internal teams to ensure proper accounting for cash-related transactions.
    • Maintain audit-ready documentation and support external/internal audit requests.
  • Daily & Periodic Cash Reporting:
    • Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports.
    • Monitor and track company-wide cash balances across multiple bank accounts.
    • Ensure accurate and timely cash position reporting to senior management.
  • Factoring:
    • Prepare various files required to be submitted to the factoring company for financing of receivables
    • Track inflows from factoring runs and co-ordinate with the factoring company
    • Manage reporting of factoring inflows and outflows
  • Hedging:
    • Initiate hedges on behalf of clients based on approved policies and procedures
    • Record and report financial hedges
  • Audit Queries:
    • Prepare timely responses to audit queries relating to Treasury.
  • External and internal communication:
    • Co-ordinate and communicate with various stakeholders within the client/project such as the broader finance team, banks, TMS providers, factoring companies, etc.
  • Transition/Implementation activities:
    • Assist with client projects such as implementation of new banking systems.
  • Process Improvements/Issue resolution
    • Identify and communicate issues/process improvements.
    • Work with IT/relevant parties to resolve issues.

 

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field
  • Chartered Accountant with treasury experience is preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in treasury, banking operations, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of bank account management, cash flow forecasting, and reconciliation processes.
  • Proficiency in banking platforms and treasury management systems (TMS)/SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power point)
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and collaborate with external banking partners.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
