Position Name         FIS Quantum Implementation Specialist - Senior

Position Details      

Program Leadership & Client Advisory

• Lead or co lead multi workstream Quantum implementations—from scope & design through build, test, go live and stabilization—serving as the day to day advisor to Treasury, Finance, and IT stakeholders.
• Translate complex treasury requirements (FX, MM, IRD, commodities, cash pooling/IHB, netting, payments, hedge accounting) into scalable Quantum designs and roadmaps.
• Run solution design workshops; produce blueprints, specifications, data models and test strategies; manage risks, issues, and CCB.

Configuration & Build

• Configure core Quantum modules (Deal Capture, Cash/Liquidity, Payments, Confirmations, Accounting, Risk, Reporting) and workflow (EWF), including controls and auditability.
• Design/optimize interfaces with ERPs (SAP/Oracle), bank connectivity, market data, and downstream reporting (BI/DWH).
• Create/optimize SQL, reports, and customizations as needed; contribute to performance tuning and environment readiness.

Testing, Cutover & Hypercare

• Own SIT/UAT planning and execution; write test plans/cases; coordinate defect triage; orchestrate cutover run books and post go live support.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and SOX requirements in design, testing, and change management.

Optimization & Health Checks

• Assess existing Quantum estates to identify quick wins, release adoption and medium term enhancements (APIs, oData, EWF, dashboards, data lakes/BI, AI adjacent use cases).

People & Practice

• Mentor junior consultants; contribute to accelerators, templates and best practices; support pre sales (demos, effort estimates).

Requirements (including experience, skills and additional qualifications)         

• A bachelor’s degree (BE/BTech/MCA & MBA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field with adequate industry experience.

Technical skills requirements:

• 5–8+ years in TMS delivery with hands on FIS Quantum across at least two full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong treasury domain: cash & liquidity, IHB/pooling, payments & connectivity, FX/IR/commodity risk, hedge accounting, accounting integration.
• Tech depth: SQL and data model familiarity; integration patterns with ERPs/banks/MDPs; Quantum EWF, interfaces, custom reports.
• Proven client facing consulting skills (workshops, requirements, solution options, stakeholder mgmt. up to CFO/Treasurer).
• Willingness to travel 25–50% based on project needs.

Additional skills requirements:

• The expectations are that a Senior will be able to maintain long-term client relationships and network and cultivate business development opportunities
• Provide high quality client services by directing daily progress of engagement work, informing engagement manager of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
• Must have presentation skills ' ability to create PowerPoint deck to communicate solution architecture to various stakeholders.
• Should have understanding and experience of L1 and L2 Support.
• Excellent business communication, Consulting, Quality process skills
• Must be a team player
