We are seeking a dynamic professional to join our team in a pivotal role in Clients and Industries across both industry and function, extending from Global to Regions. This position will play a key role in strategy execution across the 6 Global Industries.

The Cross-Industry Execution Specialist, plays a pivotal role in enabling connectivity and strategy execution across the Industries. This individual supports the convening and collaboration across the Industries, Regions and Service Lines to drive strategic execution by supporting high‑growth sector ventures, driving global alignment on the optimal future portfolio mix and supporting on other Cross-Industry initiatives as required.

The position reports to the Cross-Industry Strategy & Execution Lead.  This is a permanent role.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Support and drive execution: Support the Cross-Industry Strategy & Execution Lead in driving execution of integrated cross-Sector strategies focusing on high growth sector ventures and other Cross-Industry initiatives as required.
  • Strategic leadership & portfolio mix orchestration: Shape and drive a global view of the optimal long term client portfolio mix, guiding financial modelling to assess its impact on EY’s growth. Drive shifts in mindset and behavior around client selection, risk, independence, and sector prioritisation to enable a more focused, future-ready portfolio.
  • Manage governance: Work closely with Industry Operations team members to deliver a consistent, high quality client centric service across Global Industry owned processes.
  • Work closely with Technology and Enablement to ensure design authority, drive efficiencies, prioritization and enable agile execution and identify latest firm technologies, tools, resources etc and lead innovation for the Strategy execution function, with particular emphasis on AI.
  • Connect and collaborate: Support Cross Industry team members to deliver a high value service that enables execution of integrated Industry strategies, governs Industry owned processes and allocates capital resource / investment against agreed priorities. Build relationships with C&I Business Partners i.e. Talent, Finance to deliver seamless, connected and efficient Industry owned processes and reporting.

 

Skills and attributes for success

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Ability to execute across the whole of EY through existing and building new relationships with key stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously through effective prioritization, stakeholder management and project management
  • Ability to analyze complex or unusual problems and able to deliver insightful pragmatic solutions
  • A global mindset and ability to communicate and work effectively across cultures
  • Demonstrated drive, determination and resilience, and track record of being able to overcome barriers and achieve results
  • An understanding of and desire to strive for profitable growth and commercial impact
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Advanced skills in Word, Excel and Powerpoint

 

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent qualification required
  • 5+ years current experience with EY or Global Professional Services firm track record 
  • As the job involves responding to clients' needs and varying time zones, flexibility to work extended hours
