Global Delivery Services refers to EY's worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EY’s strategy by ensuring effective support to EY’s growth agenda.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective, high-skilled, and innovative services to support EY’s global and local enablement teams. Markets, BMC, AWS, Finance and Accounting, Risk Management, Procurement, People Shared Services, IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services, are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams, along with Service Lines, Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment, technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation, rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The competencies offered include analytics, digital, user experience, mobile technology, infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and open innovation.

The Opportunity

SAP EP (Enterprise Portal) Senior Consultant is a senior-level SAP professional responsible for designing, implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Enterprise Portal solutions, typically within SAP NetWeaver environments.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
• Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
• Design and implement SAP Enterprise Portal architectures.
• Configure portal content, iViews, pages, roles, and worksets.
• Manage Single Sign-On (SSO) and user authentication.
• Develop and customize portal components using Java technologies.
• Troubleshoot portal-related issues and provide production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Enterprise Portal (EP).
• Hands-on expertise in SAP NetWeaver Portal Administration.
• Experience with Portal Content Directory (PCD), KM (Knowledge Management), and Collaboration functionalities.
• SSO configuration using SAP Logon Tickets, SAML, or other authentication mechanisms.
• Java/J2EE development experience.
• Web Dynpro Java development and troubleshooting.
• Portal security, roles, authorization, and user administration.
• Experience with SAP system integrations and web services.

Preferred Skills

• SAP Basis knowledge.
• Experience in SAP Fiori Launchpad integration and migration from EP to Fiori.
• Exposure to SAP Cloud solutions.
• Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• SAP certifications in NetWeaver/Portal technologies are preferred.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions.
• Strong documentation and presentation skills.

Typical Experience

• 8 to 10+ years of SAP experience
• Strong expertise in SAP EP administration and development
