SAP-Strategy and Governance Expert- Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP Strategy and Governance Expert (Manager) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be leading the development and implementation of SAP strategies and governance frameworks within the organization. You will work closely with business leaders and IT teams to ensure that SAP solutions align with business objectives and are delivered with high standards of quality and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain the SAP strategy in alignment with the overall business strategy.
• Establish and enforce SAP governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards.
• Lead the SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) and manage a team of SAP professionals.
• Oversee SAP projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into SAP solution requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the SAP landscape.
• Manage SAP vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure value for the organization.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices, trends, and innovations.
• Ensure the security and integrity of SAP systems and data.
• Develop and manage the SAP training and knowledge transfer programs.
• Prepare and manage the SAP budget and resources.
   

Experience: 

• Should have 8-11 Yrs of Experience in SAP Governance and Strategy.
• Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Strategy and Governance and related areas.
• Proven track record of managing SAP projects and teams.
• Strong understanding of SAP modules and integration points.
• Successfully completed at least three end-to-end implementations.
• Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
   

Competencies / Skills:

• Familiarity with governance frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, or specific SAP governance models.
• Understanding of compliance requirements and regulations that impact SAP usage, such as GDPR, SOX, or industry-specific standards.
• Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
• Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.
   

Education:

• Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
• Certifications in SAP GRC (added advantage).
• Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international)
