SAP MM Material Management-Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced SAP MM (Material Management) Senior Consultant, responsible for the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the SAP MM module. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to understand their procurement and inventory management needs and translating them into effective SAP MM solutions.

Primary Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Analyze business processes in the supply chain and identify opportunities for optimization using the SAP MM module.
• Configure and customize the SAP MM module to meet the business requirements, including material master data, purchasing, inventory management, valuation, and invoice verification.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of the SAP MM module with other SAP modules such as FI/CO, SD, PP, and WM/QM.
• Lead the full lifecycle of SAP MM projects, including planning, design, testing, rollout, and support.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops, document functional designs, and create test plans.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are proficient in using the SAP MM functionalities.
• Manage master data related to materials management, including material master records, vendor master data, and purchasing info records.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP MM-related issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and user guides.
• Stay current with SAP releases, enhancements, and best practices within the materials management domain.
• Good Knowledge on how SAP MM integrates with other SAP modules.

Experience: 

• 3-7 years of relevant experience in SAP MM.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP MM configuration and technical areas.
• Experience with data migration strategies and tools for transferring materials data into the SAP MM module.
• Proficiency in documenting processes and writing functional specifications.
• Successfully completed at least two end-to-end implementations.
• Experience in working in client-facing delivery roles, with a proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships.

Competencies / Skills:

• Strong understanding of procurement and inventory management processes, invoice verification, material valuation, and vendor master data.
• Strong customer handling skills, with the ability to build relationships and provide mentorship to team members.
• Excellent communication skills for translating functional requirements into design documents.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work collaboratively within diverse teams, while independently driving key deliverables.

Education:

• Graduate from a reputed educational institution.
• SAP Certified Application Associate - Procurement with SAP ERP (Preferred)

Must possess a valid passport and be willing to travel for client site work (domestic and international).
