Oracle Financial – Functional - Senior

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle Financial – Functional Senior Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle Financials, strong functional expertise, and a proven track record of delivering successful implementations and support in a consulting environment.

 

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Manage and support internal KPI’s. Oracle Financials implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Should be able to interpret functional requirements and able to deliver and design it from onsite and offshore. If required ready to travel to onsite
  • Provide functional expertise in Oracle Financial modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and Cash Management (CM) and Sub Ledger Accounting (SLA)
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements, fit-gap analysis, system configuration, functional design, system integration testing 
  • Identify and mitigate system risks by evaluating functional and cross-functional dependencies, proactively recommend process improvements based on best practices.
  • Conduct workshops and training sessions for clients and internal teams to ensure effective knowledge transfer and adoption of Oracle Financial solutions. Participate in design reviews and discussions and experience in COA design is a plus
  • Develop and maintain project documentation using AIM / OUM / TCM / Agile or other prescribed methodologies, including functional specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Drive and assist in business users during CRPs/SITs/UATs/KUTs and Prepare test scripts and test cases & conduct trainings
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Financials, providing timely and effective support to clients.
  • Ensure project timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met and act as the primary functional consultant for stakeholder alignment
  • Stay updated with the latest Oracle Financials features, functionalities, and industry best practices to provide innovative solutions to clients.
  • Participate in proposal development and client presentations.
  • Guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
     

Experience:  

  • Core experience in finance functions and having finance domain/process knowledge is preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working in ERP Financial modules (EBS /Fusion) in Oracle Financials implementation and support, with a focus on functional consulting
  • Should have worked in at least 1-2 full life cycle implementations in Oracle Cloud Financials, Oracle EBS R12, and emerging ERP platforms
  • Experience with global, multi-entity organizations, inter-company transactions, and multi-currency accounting.
  • Experience in project management skills, with experience leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
  • Experience in any of the major industry sectors like Retail, Government, Energy, Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities and Finance & Banking
  • Prior Big Four consulting experience is a plus

  • Willing to work in MENA Shift timings (Sunday to Thursday).
  • Client site work / Business Traveling involved. 

 

Education:

  • Should be a graduate along with the accounting degree such as MBA Finance or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant or ACCA from any reputed educational institution.
