Position Summary:
This position is accountable for building and maintaining the foundational reporting infrastructure, with a focus on
ensuring data quality, accessibility, and the development of standardized reports and dashboards. The Talent Data and Insight Delivery Lead will maintain and optimize the Talent Insights & Analytics platform/channel, collaborating with TI&A leaders and Product Owners (PO) to leverage AI and technology for enhanced presentation and access to talent data, serving as the critical bridge where raw data is transformed into reliable, actionable information. This role is essential in establishing best practices and driving the team’s transition from a reporting function to a strategic partner, through a deep understanding of complex processes and the intricacies of a multifaceted talent ecosystem, spans both strategic data architecture and hands-on data engineering and reporting. This role drives effective data standards and governance mechanisms to enable consistent/clear reporting, shares insights to enable business decisions leveraging latest systems and tools. Builds data analysts network and strengthens center of excellence (CoE), providing training and communications to upskill analyst community.
Essential Functions of the Job:
- Oversee the delivery of all talent and workforce data, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance to meet organizational needs.
- Implement processes to monitor data quality and integrity, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and optimize the Talent Insights and Analytics platform/portal, ensuring it serves as a central hub for accessing talent data and insights.
- Collaborate with TI&A leaders, Product Owners and Enterprise Technology teams to enhance the data platform’s functionality and user experience.
- Work closely with technology teams to leverage AI and advanced analytics tools to optimize the presentation and accessibility of talent data.
- Strong partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to larger EY strategy.
- Own the Talent function KPIs, business logics, data libraries, mappings, etc., and be a custodian of Talent Data.
- Engage in cross functional projects, especially ET led, as a steward for Talent Data.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in data analytics to drive innovation within the TI&A team.
- Establish and promote best practices for data management, reporting, and insights generation across the TI&A team and EY network.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members and larger EY network to ensure consistent application of best practices.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including senior leadership and internal clients, to understand their data needs
- and provide tailored insights that drive informed decision-making.
- Act as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders in leveraging talent data for strategic initiatives.
- Lead initiatives to continuously improve data delivery processes and reporting capabilities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Solicit feedback from users to identify areas for enhancement and implement necessary changes.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL/Spark, Python, R, Databricks and knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and APIs
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) to create compelling visual representations of data that facilitate understanding and decision-making.
Analytical/Decision Making Responsibilities:
- Analyse and assess the quality of talent and workforce data to ensure accuracy and reliability, making informed
- decisions on data cleansing and validation processes as needed.
- Utilize advanced analytical techniques to derive actionable insights from talent data, identifying trends,
- patterns, and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making across the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the People Insights platform/channel, making data-driven recommendations for
- enhancements that improve user experience and accessibility to talent data.
- Conduct thorough assessments of stakeholder data needs and requirements, prioritizing requests based on
- business impact and aligning insights with organizational goals.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to talent data delivery and insights, using these
- metrics to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data analysis, supporting initiatives that
- enhance workforce planning, talent management, and overall organizational performance

- Advanced knowledge of data analytics tools and programming languages, including Python, SQL, and Power BI,to develop and optimize reporting solutions.
- Understanding of data governance principles, data quality standards, and best practices in data management to ensure the integrity and reliability of talent data.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in data analytics, enabling the integration of advanced analytics into talent data presentation and accessibility.
- Experience in managing projects related to data delivery and reporting, with the ability to prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and providing tailored insights.
- Proven ability to identify issues and challenges related to data delivery and reporting, employing critical thinking to develop effective solutions.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in data analytics processes, staying current with industry trends and best practices
Supervision Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Leads across the Talent Insights and Analytics team and wider Talent Functions to ensure
- the provision of services that support business and functional delivery.
- Lead / manage a team of Data and Insight Delivery Hub Leads, Consultants and Analysts responsible for
- functional execution, building the skills and capabilities of the team.
- Independently maintain and leverage (when appropriate) an internal network, including effective partnerships
- with senior stakeholders, across EY practices / functions that will enable personal effectiveness in the position.
Other Requirements:
Due to global nature of the role; travel and willingness to work alternative hours will be required

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Educated to degree level
- Data and Technology background preferred (Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering)
- Higher professional or master’s qualification is preferred, not required
Certification Requirements:
- Higher professional or master’s qualification in a related discipline is preferred, not required
- Active membership in related professional bodies or industry groups is preferred, not required
Experience:
- Experience in delivering functional reporting solutions for business
- Experience on supporting reporting capabilities and its implementation (SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, custom
- solutions) in a relevant industry or consulting environment
- Experience of having worked on reporting and analytics solutions and its delivery
- Demonstrable experience of collaborating with talent colleagues to understand needs/requirements and of
- underlying reporting and data governance processes & systems
- Experience of participating in global dispersed teams to enhance services, processes, and standards
- Demonstrable experience of working in fast-paced, ambiguous, stressful environments to deliver required results
- Demonstrable experience of working with third party vendors / external system implementors to deliver
reporting solutions
Demonstrable experience of anticipating issues and challenges and proactively working to navigate challenges
Experience of conducting internal and external research and analysis, providing best practices and insights to
drive improvements
Demonstrable experience of having worked in a collaborative environment or provide SMR advice to achieve
successful change outcomes
