Job Summary:
Talent Services (TS) provides service offerings where the extended delivery model is used along with high-quality skills and competencies delivered virtually. This is across service lines and regions – delivering non-repetitive project-based work through skilled, agile teams. The team in the virtual hub is an extension of the regional talent teams and will cover operational/non-transnational scope.
Talent Operations TS supports specific Regions and acts as part of the extended Region Talent team.
It works in a fully integrated way with onshore colleagues participating in meetings, projects and planning activities as part of one team. The Team supports the Region in performing operational and administrative tasks to allow the onshore team to focus on consultative and strategic activities based on the priorities of the Region.
The onshore team for this role is the Ireland Talent Team. It sits within the Core Business Services (CBS) function, providing crucial support to EY Ireland’s 5,000+ employee strong workforce.
The ER Specialist acts as a critical supporting role to achieve our business and talent objectives while supporting the ER and wider Talent Partner team. This exciting opportunity indirectly supports business growth, performance management, the retention of top talent, employee engagement, and the overall re-enforcement of key talent policies and processes.
This role creates the unique opportunity to grow your HR / ER experience in an ever-changing, dynamic and fast-paced professional services firm. The successful candidate will be focused on delivery of operational excellence across core ER processes. The ideal candidate will bring a growth mindset to the role, familiarizing themselves with existing systems and processes as well as bringing process enhancements to improve deliverables.
We are looking for a practical and detail-orientated individual with excellent organizational, multitasking, and solution focused skills, with experience in the delivery of high-volume assignments.

Essential Functions of the Job:
Operationally support the ER team and wider Talent Partner team in delivering on key ER processes across all Service Lines. Key tasks will include, but not be limited to:
- Develop and support in the delivery of a master team calendar to ensure all team members are working to aligned deadlines
- Documentation management - Creating and maintaining standardized case folders and ensuring appropriate documentation is uploaded to employee files (for example, sanction letters)
- Booking and coordinating occupational health referrals, including scheduling appointments, liaising with providers, and tracking the documentation.
- Documentation support for capability, grievance, and disciplinary processes (e.g. invitations, outcome letters, meeting minutes).
- Coordination support for capability, grievance and disciplinary processes.
- Processing and tracking invoices; occupational health providers, Graphite, solicitor fees etc
- Updating employee and case data across HR systems (e.g. ServiceNow) and ensuring accuracy.
- Preparing and formatting data for dashboards and reports using standard templates.
- Supporting regular and ad hoc reporting requirements for ER teams.
- Supporting income protection processes by gathering required documentation, submitting forms and tracking progress with provider, and liaising with HR Services for PHI payments.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Good analytical capabilities with experience of leveraging data to create effective outcomes and conclusions
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with ability to plan, prioritise and multitask while working with high volumes of data in fast paced environment with competing priorities
- Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and data administration and analytics skills, with a focus on working with confidential data from various sources
- Ability to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency
- Possess the ability to communicate with internal teams and stakeholders wherever required and provide clear and concise information in both written and verbal formats.
- Excellent client service skills, networking, and relationship development skills
- Ability to be successful in a virtual team environment, working with limited supervision
- Strong team player with the ability to build relationships, showcase flexibility and support projects and cross-functional collaboration
Job Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree, preference will be given for those with HR specialization
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in HR, ideally in ER in a large, matrixed organization
- Demonstrated experience working with different stakeholders with competing needs
- Working in international and diverse environments
