Job summary:

The TME Compliance, Contracts, and Projects Supervisor at EY is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the Global Meeting and Production Contract Team. This team manages MSA contracting, compliance, storing responsibilities, and contract management for both production and meeting suppliers. The Supervisor will ensure effective contract management, analyze supplier spend data, monitor supplier performance, manage service challenges and drive process development. This role reports directly to the TME Compliance, Contracts, and Projects Lead and supports the strategic objectives of EY's TME operations.

 

Essential functions of the job:

  • Compliance Oversight and Management: Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements globally. Maintain high compliance standards to minimize risk and enhance EY's reputation.
  • Contracts Administration and Management: Oversee MSA and SOW contracting, compliance, and storing responsibilities for production and meeting suppliers. Utilize tools for contract management and compliance checks. Ensure contracts are up to date, compliant, and strategically aligned with EY’s operational goals.
  • Supplier Spend Data Collection Management & Analysis: Collect and analyze supplier spend data. Provide insights to improve spend under management and support SCS targets.
  • Supplier Performance Monitoring: Monitor service quality, pricing, discounts, and value adds from suppliers. Conduct supplier business reviews and track performance against KPIs, metrics, and SLAs.
  • Strategic Project Support: Support key projects within TME, including process development and guidance documentation.
  • Contribute to projects that drive innovation, efficiency, and enhanced service delivery.
  • Audit Coordination and Execution: Collaborate with the GRC team to coordinate audit readiness and execution across all TME markets and categories. Address audit findings promptly to uphold EY’s standards.
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure TME follows EY and SCS policies and procedures. Act as a liaison with the SCS GRC team.

 

Analytical/decision-making responsibilities: 

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of global regulatory requirements affecting travel, meetings, and events.
  • Contract Management: Expertise in managing large-scale contracts and using contract management software.
  • Project Management: Strong background in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Financial Acumen: Capability in managing budgets and financial plans with an understanding of P&L management.
  • Communication and Leadership: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to lead teams and manage senior stakeholder relationships.
  • Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Agile in adapting to changing environments and skilled in proactive problem-solving and risk management.

 

Knowledge and skills requirements:

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Advanced understanding of regulatory requirements affecting travel, meetings, and events.
  • Contract Management: Proficient with contract management systems and experience in negotiating terms.
  • Project Management: Ability to support large-scale projects, with experience in planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Financial Acumen: Basic capability in managing budgets and financial plans, with understanding of financial reporting and cost control.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Good communication abilities for effective stakeholder engagement and team support.
  • Adaptability and Analytical Skills: Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and analyze information to make informed decisions.

 

Supervision responsibilities:

  • Level of Supervision Received: Operates under the strategic direction and oversight from the TME Compliance, Contracts, and Projects Lead.
  • Level of Supervision of Others: Manages a diverse team, including onshore and offshore staff, with responsibilities for setting objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering professional development. Indirect supervision of project teams and collaborative efforts across different regions.

 

Job requirements:

Education:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • Professional development in travel, meetings, and events preferred.

 

Experience:

  • 7+ years in contract management, compliance, or supplier management roles.
  • Experience in managing supplier performance and strategic project leadership.
  • Background in professional services desired but not mandatory.

 

Other requirements:

  • Some travel could be expected as part of this role.
