The Regional Contracts & Supplier Governance Assistant Manager serves as a key enabler of effective contract management, supplier governance, and procurement compliance across the UK&I business. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, supporting supplier onboarding and governance activities, and ensuring adherence to contractual, regulatory, and risk management requirements.

Acting as a central point of coordination between business stakeholders, Procurement, Risk, Finance, and suppliers, the ‘Assistant Manager’ drives operational excellence through robust governance, process optimization, reporting, and continuous improvement. The role ensures that third-party engagements are managed efficiently, risks are mitigated, and supplier relationships deliver sustainable value and strategic business outcomes.

 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Manage contract and supplier governance mailboxes, providing guidance and coordinating contract requests through to execution.
  • Draft, review, negotiate, and administer supplier contracts while ensuring compliance with procurement and governance requirements.
  • Oversee contract execution processes, including approvals, DocuSign workflows, and maintenance of executed agreements.
  • Maintain contract repositories, lifecycle trackers, renewals, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Support supplier onboarding, vendor enablement, and supplier due diligence activities.
  • Manage supplier governance programs, MSA renewals, performance reviews, and compliance obligations.
  • Ensure adherence to risk, compliance, and third-party governance frameworks, escalating issues where required.
  • Support procurement and sourcing activities, including supplier evaluations and governance approvals.
  • Prepare management reports, dashboards, and analytics on contracts, suppliers, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate audit reviews, remediation activities, invoice governance, and payment-related issue resolution.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, stakeholder training, and continuous enhancement of contract management practices.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Demonstrates expertise in leveraging advanced analytics platforms and visualization tools (such as Power BI, ThoughtSpot, or similar) to transform raw data into actionable insights.
  • Skilled in designing interactive dashboards, reports, and visual narratives that enable stakeholders to quickly interpret trends, patterns, and performance metrics.
  • Presentation and facilitation skills - Ability to drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data, creating valuable business insights and delivering the message to the stakeholders
  • Work under minimal direction/supervision - Be accountable for projects assigned, take complete ownership and drive projects end to end
  • Business acumen and Adaptability – Capable of quickly understanding the needs of the business and be able to align with changing customer expectations
  • Quick learner - Ability to grasp or quickly understand the process, objectives / intricacies of projects and move to delivery mode in a short span
  • Attention to detail - Utmost importance to numbers, formatting etc.
  • Excellent Communication - Listening, reading, writing & speaking skills
  • MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting & PowerPoint.
  • Power BI/Other BI tools/ Alteryx - Data Integration and Data Visualization etc.
  • High degree of professionalism and integrity

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Graduate / Post-graduate - (Business Administration, Information and Data Science) with 6 - 8 years’ work experience in professional services industry.
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, best practices when developing solutions and experience in solution development, specifically utilizing Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • The role demands expertise in Power BI and related Microsoft Power Platform tools, including PowerApps and Power Automate, to design, develop, and maintain robust data solutions. A strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness are essential to ensure high-quality deliverables.
