The opportunity
The Alliances Resale Program support specialist is responsible for providing ongoing process governance support to the GDS Alliances Resale Lead, as part of the broader global Ecosystem Relationship Enablement function. The incumbent will be responsible for processing resale related requests as per the agreed scope of support, using EY’s global and local workflow tools. The responsibilities will also include reporting of Resale Program Health and managing complex deals
Your key responsibilities
- Manage generic Resale email communication
- Perform actions in the internal workflow tool in timely and accurate manner
- Track commercial deliverables for Customer Resale agreements through Service Now tool
- Internal interaction with Client Pursuits/engagement teams
- Validate engagement specifics against Global Alliances Resale policy guidance and flag discrepancies in timely manner and to appropriate approvers – QRM, Independence, Legal teams
- Actively supports implementation of EY procedures and policies in all daily activities
- Understand the process gaps and propose preventive / corrective action where appropriate
- Creates KPI reports, analyze KPI exceptions and identify root causes
- Collaborates with end users and stakeholders to contribute to a good working relationship, answering questions, collect feedback and actively look for areas for improvement
- Develop, maintain and promote positive relationships and engagement with key stakeholders
Skills and attributes for success
- Excellent communication skills (English) – written and oral, strong business writing skills is essential, with the ability to create content independently with limited initial input or guidance.
- Ability to work with senior onshore stakeholders, excellent relationship and stakeholder management skills, should have the ability to develop trusted business advisor relationships with onshore stakeholders.
- Should have experience with virtual working preferable across multiple geographies, including cultural sensitivity, with a global mindset.
- Knowledge of EY & GDS operations, incl. org structure, operating model, management information systems, independence concepts, etc. (for internal candidates), Big 4 consultancy exposure with experience in leadership support/strategic environment (for external candidates.
- Basic understanding of Finance (AP, AR), Procurement functions
- Naturally collaborative and versatile in driving change
- Should be a fast learner and should be quick to to pick up concepts and requirements
- Should be able to take the lead, work independently and ensure that work is properly organized, and delivered in a timely manner, with high accuracy and quality
Supervision Responsibilities
- Must be able to operate primarily independently to drive process governance
- Direct activities of those in other practice areas or functions who do not report to the Global Investments Leader
- Be comfortable working with and providing guidance to executive-level stakeholders
Educational qualification
- Masters in Commerce or MBA (Finance) preferred
- Graduation in Commerce (or Business Management, Administration)
Technologies and Tools
- MS Office skills: Intermediate level experience in Excel and Word
- Excel — Pivot tables, look ups, filtering, conditional formatting, validation
- Excellent data handling skills
- Familiarity with maintenance of SharePoint sites
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or any workflow management tools
- 8+ Years of relevant work experience
- Experience of interacting with geographically dispersed professionals strongly preferred
