The Operations and Reporting team within EY GDS is a dynamic and multi-offering function consisting of more than 300 employees across India, the Philippines and Poland with six global centers. We provide operational excellence through methodologies and tools to build sustainable processes and practices. With functions such as global and regional operations, go-to-market enablers and business enablement, the Ops and Reporting continually works towards EY’s growth endeavors. As part of the Operations and Reporting team, the resource will be responsible for managing multiple functions, including project management, reporting and analysis, and stakeholder management. The role requires substantial experience in similar positions, with strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, coupled with a diligent work ethic and keen attention to detail, given the team's emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.

In addition, the role demands effective communication skills, particularly in correspondence through email and Microsoft Teams, with the objective of supporting the business and its leadership—especially senior management—by delivering insightful reports and analysis.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Providing strategic inputs/ information to Region’s projects teams and initiatives.
  • Preparing executive reports and providing summary to the senior leadership
  • Preparing meeting materials for the leadership
  • Helping to drive operational improvements and efficiencies through the creation and implementation of rigorous operational processes and controls
  • Managing complex requests involving multiple functions
  • Managing and collating action points related to leadership meeting and driving their successful execution
  • Comfortable interacting across multiple groups & working with teams to propose solutions and owning resolution of open items (beyond just tracking & reporting issues)

To qualify for the role, you must have

Educational qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business (or equivalent area of study or experience).

 

Experience

  • 8 to 10 years work experience with exposure to operations management

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience in Markets & BD Enablement
  • Experience in Project coordination or Project Management
  • Excellent Reporting and Analytical skills – Previous experience and proven ability to read, understand and sanitize the data, build reports or dashboards and provide insights from the data, capable of identifying probable areas of automation and implementing them
  • Presentation and facilitation skills - Ability to drive meetings, build presentations that interpret the data, creating valuable business insights and delivering the message to the stakeholders
  • Experience working with senior leadership
  • Experience in meeting management and diary management

 

Technologies and Tools

  • Demonstrated expert level experience in MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
  • Technical proficiency in Power BI, Alteryx and other Business Intelligence systems
