Your key responsibilities

 

As ServiceNow Senior Tester you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and performance of our ServiceNow Platform.

 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to ensure robust and reliable application performance.
  • Conduct manual exploratory testing for new user stories and regression testing cycles to identify defects and ensure quality deliverables.
  • Apply strong technical and functional knowledge of ServiceNow modules and business processes to design effective test cases and scenarios.
  • Collaborate closely with Agile development teams to integrate testing activities within Agile sprints and deliver continuous feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within ServiceNow applications, leveraging deep understanding of platform capabilities and configurations.
  • Manage and execute testing strategies involving large data sets and complex ServiceNow implementations, ensuring comprehensive coverage and performance.
  • Utilize various testing techniques and tools to enhance test effectiveness and efficiency, adapting to project needs and evolving requirements.
  • Lead and mentor testing team members, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the testing practice.

We are looking for someone who is not only skilled but also passionate about technology and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will possess:

 

  • Essential Skills: Must have experience developing, maintaining and executing test scripts using ServiceNow ATF. Ability to execute manual exploratory tests for new user stories and regression cycles. Should have strong technical and functional understanding of ServiceNow modules and processes. Experience in Agile development methodology. Excellent troubleshooting skills in ServiceNow applications. Comfortable handling huge data sets and device testing strategy for complex ServiceNow implementations. You should be comfortable working with various testing techniques and tools.
  • Ideal Qualities: Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment, proactive mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams. You should be detail-oriented and able to think critically to solve complex problems.

 

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in testing ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB, and Discovery.
  • Proven experience leading end-to-end testing for ServiceNow family upgrades, including patch upgrades, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in leading testing efforts for ServiceNow enhancements and greenfield implementations, delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts using ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF).
  • Strong ability to perform manual exploratory testing for new user stories and regression cycles.
  • Solid technical and functional understanding of ServiceNow modules and business processes.
  • Experience testing Gen AI / Agentic AI solutions within ServiceNow or related platforms.
  • Comfortable working with large data sets and devising testing strategies for complex ServiceNow implementations.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues within ServiceNow applications.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodology as well as Waterfall project management approaches.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in utilizing various testing techniques and tools to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

 

 

Ideally, you’ll also be familiar with the following

 

  • Azure DevOps, Sharepoint
