Job Title : Power Automate & Gen AI Consultant - Senior Associate
As a Power Automate & Gen AI Consultant, you will collaborate with business, reporting, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements, analyse workflows, and design intelligent automation solutions. You will leverage your expertise to align automation and AI initiatives with the organization’s strategic vision, acting as a subject matter expert in process automation and generative AI.
You will thrive on solving complex business challenges by designing scalable, low-code/no-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, PAD) and integrating Generative AI capabilities such as AI copilots, prompt engineering, and intelligent document processing. You will play a critical role in transforming manual processes into automated, AI-driven workflows that improve efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making.
This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable architecting solutions, developing automation flows, implementing AI-powered use cases, troubleshooting performance issues, and delivering business insights through integrated platforms. You will be responsible for integrating disparate systems, enabling seamless data flow, and ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable automation solutions.
Experience with DevOps practices, governance, and automation using Python or scripting tools will be key to streamlining deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management of automation and AI solutions. A strong passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and leveraging Gen AI to unlock business value will set you apart in this role.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable automation workflows using Power Automate, integrating with Microsoft 365, Dynamics, and third-party applications.
- Architect and implement AI-powered solutions leveraging Generative AI (Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AI Builder) to address business needs and improve process efficiency.
- Build, enhance, and maintain Power Platform solutions (Power Automate, Power Apps) with a strong focus on usability, reliability, and performance.
- Diagnose, debug, and optimize automation flows, AI outputs, and workflow performance issues to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT, and analytics teams to understand requirements and translate them into intelligent automation and AI-driven solutions.
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance across automated workflows and AI integrations.
- Implement DevOps and ALM best practices for Power Platform, including automated deployment, version control, and monitoring.
- Use Python or scripting tools to enable automation, orchestration, and integration of AI and cloud-based workflows where needed.
- Develop solution documentation, architecture diagrams, prompt libraries, and reusable components for consistent delivery.
- Stay up to date with advancements in Power Platform, automation technologies, and Generative AI, and recommend innovative improvements to existing processes.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
- The candidate should have 7+ years of experience in automation, Power Platform solutions, and intelligent workflow development, with exposure to AI-driven implementations.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Automate, including cloud flows, desktop flows (RPA), connectors, triggers, approvals, and integration patterns, is required.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies such as Copilot, Azure OpenAI, AI Builder, or similar platforms, including prompt design and AI-powered automation use cases.
- Proficiency in Power Platform ecosystem (Power Apps, Dataverse) with the ability to design scalable, secure, and user-friendly solutions.
- A solid understanding of process automation design, workflow orchestration, and system integration patterns is essential.
- Experience in debugging, optimizing, and troubleshooting automation workflows and AI-driven processes to improve performance and reliability.
- Proficiency in Python or scripting tools for advanced automation, integrations, and extending platform capabilities is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps practices and ALM for Power Platform, including tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines for solution deployment.
- Strong focus on solution governance, security, compliance, and best practices within Power Platform and AI implementations.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development practices, leveraging copilots and automation accelerators to enhance productivity is required.
- Experience in leading teams, mentoring junior consultants, and stakeholder management with strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills, along with good business acumen and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SDLC.
- Passion for innovation, automation, and leveraging Generative AI to drive business transformation and deliver measurable value.

- Experience with Power Automate, PAD, Copilot or Azure Foundry/Open AI.
- Knowledge of PowerShell or other automation tools a plus.
- Ability to balance speed with precision in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of integration technologies, APIs, and protocols
- Experience developing/managing chatbot using virtual agent will be an asset
We Value
- Curiosity-driven problem solvers.
