Position Details:

Job Title: Senior Associate Data Analyst– Power Platform - EDS

Job purpose          

As a Senior Associate, you will collaborate with business reporting and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, perform data analysis, and support project transitions. You will lead transition activities where required and manage post-transition development, enhancements, and modifications. You will work across multiple projects with back-end data architects and systems engineers to build data objects that support business needs. You will also apply specialized knowledge to advance the organization’s vision and direction while serving as the team’s subject matter expert.

Specific Role requirements

• Ability to analyze large sets of data and determine patterns and rules for organizing and Prepare Visualization dashboards using Power BI.
• Ability to work on database management and data modelling.
• Working knowledge in developing low code solutions using power platform tools like Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Sound knowledge in ETL concepts and tools like Data Factory/SSIS.
• Design and support database and table structures for new and evolving sources of data
• Experience in working with version control tools like Git/Github
• Perform extensive and detailed data analysis necessary to ensure strict adherence to data quality.
• Take on end-to-end ownership and perform different roles within analysis and development phases.
• Set and manage expectations with clients while providing proactive communication and status updates; prioritize deliverables with client/requestor and follow/implement change control and release management processes.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and coordinate between teams from different service lines.
• Good problem solving skills and business acumen.
• Adhere to general work requirements and perform other duties as assigned.
• Clear understanding of Gen AI tools and their integrations.

Client Responsibilities:

• Need to be curious and ask the right questions to frame problems and find right analytic solutions.
• Need to work as a senior team member to contribute to various technical streams of Decision Sciences implementation project.
• Provide product and design level with the best technical practices.
• Interface and communicate with the onsite coordinators.
• Develop analytical strategies for business by leveraging the right analytical techniques and technologies.
• Documenting and presenting work to the client. Proactively recommending and influencing changes in business decision-making.
• Completion of assigned tasks on time and regular status reporting to the lead

Experience and Qualification:

• More than 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL/T-SQL, Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Knowledge of ETL tools such as SSIS and Azure Data Factory will be an added advantage.
• Experience with Python coding and Databricks will be beneficial.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel macros will be an added advantage.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Prior client-facing experience is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
